The atmosphere in the mansion grew increasingly oppressive as Jimin sat across from his parents, their stern faces illuminated by the harsh overhead light. His heart pounded in his chest, a mix of fear and anger coursing through him.

“Jimin, we need to talk,” his father said, his voice low and unyielding. “Your mother and I have made a decision regarding your future.”

Jimin felt a lump form in his throat. “What is it?” he asked, bracing himself for the worst.

“You are to marry Jack,” his mother declared, her tone leaving no room for argument. “The wedding is in one week, and your haldi ceremony is set for tomorrow. We expect you to invite him.”

“Wait, what?” Jimin exclaimed, disbelief flooding through him. “You can’t just decide that for me! I don’t want to marry Jack!”

His father leaned forward, his expression fierce. “This isn’t a choice, Jimin. It’s what’s best for our family. Jack is a successful CEO, and he’s handsome. You can’t compare him to… to that boy.”

“His name is Yoongi!” Jimin shot back, anger flaring in him. “And I love him!”

His mother scoffed. “Love? You think this is about love? You’re being foolish. You need to think about your future, about our family’s reputation. If you continue this relationship, you will regret it. We’ve given you enough chances to end this with Yoongi, but now we’re done playing games.”

“End it,” his father ordered, his voice cold. “Tell him you don’t love him. Make it clear that you’re not interested in pursuing this relationship any longer. Otherwise, we’ll take matters into our own hands.”

Jimin felt his heart shatter at their words. “You can’t threaten him! You have no right!”

“Watch your tone, Jimin,” his mother warned. “This is your last chance to comply. If you refuse, we will ensure that he suffers for your choices. We don’t want any scandal or shame to fall on this family.”

His father reached into his pocket and pulled out an invitation card, slamming it onto the table in front of Jimin. “Here’s the invitation to your own wedding. You will send it to Yoongi and break his heart. You have one week to end this nonsense.”

Jimin stared at the card, a feeling of despair washing over him. “You want me to break up with the person I love and invite him to my own wedding to someone else? How can you do this to me?”

“This is how it must be,” his mother replied, her voice unwavering. “You need to understand the reality of your situation. If you choose Yoongi, it could end very badly for him.”

Feeling the weight of his parents’ threats, Jimin’s mind raced with turmoil. The love he felt for Yoongi clashed violently with the fear of what his parents were capable of. He stood up, shaking with anger and frustration.

“I won’t do it,” he declared defiantly. “I won’t let you control my life like this. You don’t understand what Yoongi means to me!”

But his father stood, towering over him. “You will do as we say, Jimin. You’re a part of this family, and we will not allow you to ruin our name. You have one week to make your decision.”

As Jimin stormed out of the room, his heart heavy with dread, he knew he faced an impossible choice—follow his heart and risk Yoongi’s safety or obey his parents and sacrifice the love that had just begun to bloom. He felt lost, trapped between the love he held and the family that demanded obedience, his mind racing as he desperately sought a way out of this nightmare.
