In the days that followed, Jimin found himself trapped in an emotional rollercoaster. The physical toll of his pregnancy weighed heavily on him, but it was the psychological burden that felt insurmountable. Every time he walked through the halls of Yoongi's mansion, he was reminded of what he had lost—his love, his freedom, and his sense of self. Memories of laughter and warmth felt like distant echoes, replaced by the cold shadows of regret and despair.

Yoongi, meanwhile, watched Jimin from a distance, his heart aching at the sight of the man he once knew so well, now a shadow of himself. The tension between them was electric, filled with unspoken words and unresolved pain. Yoongi was struggling to reconcile his feelings; he was angry and hurt, but he couldn’t deny the concern that nagged at him whenever he saw Jimin. It was a constant battle within him—wanting to reach out but fearing the repercussions.

One afternoon, as Jimin was cleaning the kitchen, the silence became unbearable. Yoongi stepped inside, breaking the stillness. “So, how’s life with Jack? You seem so happy,” he said, his voice laced with sarcasm, as he watched Jimin carefully.

Jimin looked up, his eyes narrowing. “Why do you care?” he snapped, defensiveness rising within him. “You’ve made it clear you want nothing to do with me. I am the person who can give his body to anyone, after all.”

Yoongi huffed. “That’s not the point, Jimin. I just want to know if you’re safe. I mean, we all know how ‘wonderful’ Jack is, right? How your parents and you see him! And that’s why, today your state is like you became a maid.”

Jimin’s heart raced at the mention of Jack. He hated how easily the name could bring back memories of fear and pain. “He’s okay,” Jimin said, forcing a smile that felt foreign, his voice wavering. “He’s everything I... I said he is—rich, handsome, charming.”

“Charming?” Yoongi scoffed, an edge to his voice. “Is that what you call him? You think he’s better than me? Didn’t you regret choosing him?”

“Why does it matter?” Jimin snapped, frustration boiling over. “You think you’re the only one who’s been hurt? And that’s why you’re taunting me? My parents threatened me, Yoongi! They said if I didn’t marry Jack, they would kill you! I had no choice!”

The confession hung in the air, heavy with regret and pain. Jimin’s hands trembled as he continued, his voice rising. “You don’t know what I went through! Jack assaulted me before the wedding, physically forced me every night, and I stayed quiet because I thought it was the only way to protect you! I thought if I went through with the marriage, my parents would leave you alone! I sacrificed myself! Do you know how much it hurt? Daily crying, thinking that today your body will not be used, today you will not be physically forced!”

Yoongi stared at him, stunned. The realization that Jimin had suffered so much weighed heavily on him. “So, you just let him hurt you? You just let him walk all over you? You just gave your body to him?” he asked, his voice cold, masking the hurt that was beginning to surface.

“I did it for you!” Jimin shouted, tears spilling from his eyes, rage and sorrow intertwining. “I did everything for you, and you have no idea how much it hurt to choose between my own happiness and your life! You think I wanted this? You think I wanted to be with someone like Jack? You think I want bruises every day? You think I want him to touch me?!”

Yoongi’s expression hardened as the anger swirled within him, conflicting with the guilt he felt. “So, what? You’re saying you made your choice, and I should just accept that? You didn’t even try to fight for us! I said, let’s run, but you! You stayed loyal to your parents, too much loyalty to them! And now they abandon you!”

“Fight for us?” Jimin yelled, his voice cracking. “I was fighting for your life! You chose to cut me out of your life when I needed you the most! And now, here I am, pregnant and alone, just trying to survive! After listening to the words like ‘slut,’ ‘whore,’ and not knowing how much more I can take!”

Yoongi took a step back, shocked by the intensity of Jimin's emotions. “You think I cut you off from my life? You think I didn’t care?”

Jimin’s mood shifted suddenly; the anger melted into despair. “Everyone hates me, Yoongi! My parents, Taehyung, you, and even my brother! They’ve all turned their backs on me, and I’m left with this torment. I tried to save you from my family, and I lost everything in the process! How happy I was! But now, there is nothing left but crying.” His voice broke, and he sank to the floor, wrapping his arms around his knees, the weight of his words pressing down on him.

Yoongi felt a twist of pain in his chest at the sight of Jimin’s vulnerability. “Jimin…” he started, but the words caught in his throat, his heart heavy with regret for the misunderstandings that had driven them apart.

“I tried to save you, but I lost you,” Jimin whispered, tears streaming down his face. “I still love you. I never stopped loving you, and now I’m just… empty.” His voice trailed off as he curled into himself, sobs shaking his body, each gasp a reminder of the anguish he felt.

The confession hung in the air, heavy with sorrow. Jimin’s breathing became erratic, and he began to tremble. “I can’t… I can’t do this anymore… I need to... to die after giving birth,” he gasped, the weight of his words pressing down on him, his spirit feeling like it was slipping away.

Suddenly, Jimin fell silent, his eyes closing slightly as he lost consciousness, slumping to the side. Yoongi rushed forward, panic seizing him as he knelt beside Jimin, heart racing, the reality of the situation crashing down on him. “Jimin! Jimin!” he called, shaking him gently, desperation lacing his voice.

The maids, alerted by the commotion, rushed into the room. Yoongi looked up at them, fear in his eyes, the weight of his emotions spilling over. “Get help! He’s not waking up!”

As the maids scrambled to call for a doctor, Yoongi’s heart raced, his mind swirling with worry. He couldn’t shake the feeling of helplessness, the concern etched on his face as he held Jimin’s limp body, realizing just how deeply the pain had affected him. The man he loved was breaking before him, and all Yoongi could do was pray for his safety, regret churning in his gut for the misunderstandings that had led them here.
