The days that followed were filled with a peaceful routine, something Jimin hadn't known for years. His life was now a mix of soft mornings, warm breakfasts, and moments of gentle affection with Yoongi. They spent their time preparing for the baby, shopping, decorating the nursery, and sharing quiet conversations about their future.

One evening, after dinner, Jimin was sitting on the living room floor surrounded by small baby items they had recently bought. He picked up a tiny pair of socks and held them up to Yoongi, who was sitting on the couch, watching him with a smile.

"Can you believe in a few months, our baby will be wearing these?" Jimin asked, his eyes wide with amazement.

Yoongi leaned forward, resting his chin on his hand as he admired the sight of Jimin so content and at ease. "It still feels unreal, doesn’t it? But also... it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to us."

Jimin smiled warmly, placing the socks down as he shuffled over to sit beside Yoongi. "I never thought I’d get this chance," he said softly, his voice tinged with emotion. "After everything... I thought I’d lost any hope of a happy ending."

Yoongi gently took Jimin's hand in his, intertwining their fingers. "You deserve happiness, Jimin. You deserve all of it. And I’m going to make sure you never lose it again."

Jimin’s heart swelled with emotion, and he leaned in, pressing a tender kiss to Yoongi’s lips. The kiss deepened, their connection as strong as ever, built on years of pain, healing, and love. When they pulled apart, Yoongi cupped Jimin's face in his hands, brushing his thumb against his cheek.

"I love you," Yoongi whispered, his voice filled with sincerity.

"I love you too," Jimin responded, resting his forehead against Yoongi's, their breaths mingling.

The night went on in peaceful contentment, with Yoongi pulling Jimin into his lap, their bodies fitting perfectly together as they sat on the couch. Jimin snuggled into Yoongi’s chest, closing his eyes and sighing in contentment.

"You always make me feel so safe," Jimin said softly.

Yoongi kissed the top of Jimin's head, his arms tightening around him protectively. "You are safe, Jimin. With me, always."

The night drifted on, and before they knew it, they both fell asleep in each other’s arms on the couch, wrapped in warmth and comfort.

The next morning, they woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside. Yoongi stretched, feeling Jimin still nestled against him, and a soft smile spread across his face. He gently stroked Jimin’s hair, not wanting to disturb him, but Jimin stirred, slowly opening his eyes.

"Morning," Jimin mumbled sleepily, his voice soft and raspy.

"Morning," Yoongi replied, pressing a kiss to Jimin’s temple.

Jimin yawned and stretched his arms. "I can’t believe we slept on the couch."

Yoongi chuckled. "We were too comfortable to move."

They both laughed, and Yoongi helped Jimin up, guiding him to the kitchen for breakfast. As they ate, they talked about the baby, their plans, and even playfully debated baby names, the room filled with their laughter and light bickering.

Later, as they were getting ready to head out for a walk, Jimin caught a glimpse of his reflection in the mirror. He placed a hand on his growing belly, feeling a wave of love and protectiveness wash over him.

Yoongi came up behind him, wrapping his arms around Jimin’s waist and resting his chin on his shoulder. "You look beautiful," he whispered, his eyes meeting Jimin’s in the mirror.

Jimin smiled, leaning back into Yoongi’s embrace. "Thank you."

They spent the rest of the day enjoying the outdoors, walking hand-in-hand through the park and stopping at a nearby café for a treat. Jimin got his favorite pastry, while Yoongi sipped on a hot drink, watching Jimin with adoration as they sat at a small table by the window.

"I can’t wait for our baby to see this world," Jimin said suddenly, looking out at the busy street filled with people going about their day. "I want to show them everything."

Yoongi smiled, reaching across the table to take Jimin’s hand. "And we will. Together."

As the day drew to a close, they returned home, feeling content and fulfilled. Jimin showered while Yoongi cleaned up the house, and when they both settled into bed that night, Jimin curled up in Yoongi’s arms once again.

"Today was perfect," Jimin whispered, his eyes heavy with sleep.

Yoongi kissed his forehead. "Every day with you is perfect."

With those words, they drifted off to sleep, holding each other close, knowing that no matter what challenges came their way, they had each other—and soon, they would have their baby, the symbol of the love they had fought so hard to protect.

Later that night, as they lay in bed wrapped in each other’s arms, Jimin found himself wide awake, thoughts swirling in his mind. He felt Yoongi’s steady breath against his neck, the comforting warmth of his presence surrounding him. It was moments like these that made him feel safe, but there was something nagging at him, something he hadn’t voiced yet.

"Yoongi..." Jimin whispered softly, careful not to startle him.

"Hm?" Yoongi’s sleepy voice responded, his arms tightening slightly around Jimin as he stirred.

Jimin bit his lip, hesitating for a moment before finally asking, "When are we going to get married?"

Yoongi’s eyes fluttered open, and he looked down at Jimin, slightly surprised by the question. He blinked a few times to wake himself up fully, then shifted so he could look Jimin in the eyes. "You want to get married?"

Jimin nodded, his heart racing. "I do. I mean… we’ve been through so much, and I’ve always imagined us together like this. But I want it to be official, you know? I want to be yours in every way. I want us to have a family with our baby, and I want the world to know that we belong to each other."

Yoongi’s heart swelled with emotion. He had always thought about marrying Jimin, but hearing Jimin say those words made it feel real—something he couldn’t put off any longer. He smiled softly, brushing a strand of hair away from Jimin’s face.

"Of course, Jimin," Yoongi said, his voice tender. "We’ll get married. I want that more than anything."

Jimin’s eyes sparkled with happiness as he held Yoongi’s gaze. "Really?"

"Really," Yoongi assured him, leaning down to press a soft kiss to Jimin’s lips. "You deserve the world, and I want to give it to you. We’ll plan the wedding whenever you’re ready."

Tears welled up in Jimin’s eyes, but they were tears of joy this time. He had waited so long for this moment, and now, hearing Yoongi say those words, it felt like all the pain, the heartache, the suffering—they were finally being replaced with something beautiful.

"I’m ready now," Jimin whispered, his voice breaking with emotion. "I don’t want to wait anymore."

Yoongi smiled, kissing away Jimin’s tears. "Then we won’t wait. We’ll start planning tomorrow."

Jimin let out a soft, relieved laugh, his hands trembling slightly as he held onto Yoongi. "I love you so much."

"I love you too," Yoongi replied, pulling Jimin close and holding him tight. "And soon, everyone will know just how much."

As they lay there, wrapped up in each other, their future finally felt clear. They would get married, have their family, and continue building the life they had both fought so hard for.

Jimin’s heart felt lighter than it had in years, and for the first time in what felt like forever, he could imagine a future filled with love, happiness, and peace—together with Yoongi.
