Hazle's POV

It felt as if tons of weight were pressing down on my eyelids, and I couldn't ignore the slightest headache as I struggled to breathe in the strong, musky scent surrounding me. Strangely, I felt warm despite the morning's cold, salty breeze passing through. I hummed softly, trying to roll onto my stomach. Yet, the strong hold around me kept me from moving an inch. I huffed in annoyance, trying to move again, but this time the strong hold only dragged me further into the warmth and I felt someone snuggling their nose into the crook of my neck. My breath hitched, caught between confusion and the remnants of half-sleep. My eyes fluttered open, but the harsh morning rays burned like fire, forcing me to shut them tight again.

I blinked a few times, trying to get used to the bright light while my hands worked to pry off the strong hold around me. My body tensed as a husky whisper filled my ear, sending shivers down my spine. "Shhhh, five more minutes, love." His voice, deep and intoxicating, wrapped around me like a warm blanket, and I could feel his hot lips grazing my cold earlobe. I held my breath, my eyes slowly adjusting to the burning sun rays. As the haze of sleep began to clear, I realised his sleepy, handsome face was nestled into the crook of my neck, practically caging me in his strong embrace.

His eyes were closed, and his breathing was deep. I bit my lip as my gaze slowly traveled over his sharp, handsome features. Unconsciously, my fingers reached up to tuck a few stray hairs from his temple. I couldn't stop my fingers from tracing the line of his nose and down to his lips, causing him to hum softly in his sleep. A small smile crept onto my lips at his reaction.

How could this big, bad devil look so serene while sleeping? I thought, as my fingers continued to trace his lips. But wait !!!!  the word "devil" triggered something in my mind, and one by one, last night's memories began to play like a movie.

I recalled the beach party, how our plan to make them jealous had unfolded, and finally, that last memory of us on the beach made my breath hitch. I quickly covered my mouth with my hand as my cheeks flushed with heat.

I vividly remembered what had happened, and oh my God, I pressed my lips together tightly to prevent myself from screaming out loud. My heart started to  pounded wildly in my chest, and my cheeks felt like they were on fire. The way he kissed me, the way his lips ignited something primal deep within played in an endless loop in my mind.  Every moment surged back with vivid intensity, the way he drew those sinful, uncontrollable sounds from me. The memory of it all consumed me, crashing over me again and again, leaving me breathless and flushed, as if I were still trapped in the heat of that moment.

I swallowed hard, my hand still clamped over my mouth as if that could somehow stop the flood of memories.I glanced at him, still asleep, oblivious to the storm brewing inside me. How could he lie there, so peaceful, when I was barely holding it together? I needed to get away, to clear my head but his arms were wrapped so tightly around me, I couldn't move. Trapped both in his embrace and in the chaos of my own thoughts.

Oh God what i have done!!!!! We did it again? oh my god How am i going to face him again?

With great effort, I slowly moved his arm from around my waist, careful not to wake him. The moment I was free, I slipped out of his embrace and tiptoed toward the door, not daring to look back though i heard him groaning in annoyance. I was dressed in one of his oversized shirts, and I had no idea how or when we'd made it back to the beach house. This was clearly the boys' room, but if we stayed here last night, where was Kevin? Oh what might have happened to Tash , I remember Kevin was practically dragging her with him when hyden did the same with me. Tons of  thoughts were pooling in my head when meekly creeping toward the door.

"Wow, Only now you are worrying, after a hot passionate night at the beach?" my inner voice mocked, delivering an internal slap that stung just as much as the embarrassment burning in my chest. I wanted to bury myself, sink into the floor, anything to escape the mortifying reality I was now facing. Hurry up Haze!! you have to run!!! Just as I was about to open the door, the sound of a knock made me almost scream. I quickly gripped the doorknob, freezing in place without opening it.
