Hazel's pov
I sharply breathed following Olivia. she was directing me to my work place. nervousness evident in my harsh breaths but i swallowed them well, maintaining positive thoughts.
My butterflies were doing funny since morning as I was at the starting step of my professional life, it was one my biggest dream since long time. Starting from today I'm going to begin my professional life and that exited me a lot.
"Come Miss. Devins, i will introduce your to your colleagues" saying Olivia opened the door before us, which directed us to another sector. Realising the deep breath i was holding, i flashed her a small smile, second later entering to the office room.
The room was big, at least enough for 20 people to fit in with four office tables neatly settled and well separated from each. As soon as we entered three heads raised watching us with a questionable expressions.
When my eyes inquired the space, i didn't fail to recognise Eric's familiar face instantly flashing a smile seeing me.
"Good morning everyone" Olivia paused gaining their attention. There was a long silence in the room waiting for her to continue.
"This is Hazel Devines, she is going work here as an intern for time begin , hope you all will get along well with her and support her to adjust to this new environment" Olivia said in her monotonous voice and gave me a side pat on my shoulder in a encouraging way.
I smiled tucking a strand of hair behind my ear as a shy gesture, then took a step ahead.
"Hey welcome here "she was the only girl happened to be there, and she chirped approaching me with a smile.
" I'm Layla,glad finally God sent me a friend, i was bored to hell with this two stupid boys, they are no fun "she mused widely smiling, no later I sheepishly grabbed the hand she extended to me with a smile
" I'm Hazel, nice to meet you" I muttered watching her happy face. She is bubbly in nature with a blonde hair.
"Nice, you found a good companion already"Olivia said as she step aside to leave not before notifying Layla.
" Then Layala please show her everything around, also her work part, I'm trusting with you this" she muttered not before waking out of the room. At the time layala's hands were already around my arm as she pulled me towards a neatly settled table,
" This is your desk, we already prepared thing as Olivia informed us, there will be a newbie" she mused with a smile. I was bit shocked watching the table neatly organised. few files were there on the side and a cute pen holder with a laptop.
"Hey, never knew our new intern would be you" As I was totally in to admiring my new working table, Eric's manly voice came beside me.
I turned around to found Eric with his usual sweet smile where I shyly returned the gesture.I never thought we would be end up under this kind of circumstance.
"You two knew each other????" Layala asked in amusement.
"Ahm,, yes we are collage friends" he replied at her.
"Wow that's awesome, then you two might have lot of old gold stories to talk right?? " she said in a excited voice.
Not to bring those Old gold stories...
We both smiled not adding any comment.
As we three were engulfed in our conversation the one beside us, went unnoticed,
"This is Aaron, "Eric introduced a boy who might be in same age as us and silently eyeing us for the whole time.
