Hazel's pov

Stirring from the sleep I heard some shuffling sounds.the bright sunlight directly coming to me eyes my Palm involuntary covered my eyes. Heels clicking sound and some shufflings were more audible with a yawning I lazily sat on bed with half opened eyes to ease the burning sensation on my eyes against the sunrays.
Mom had already dressed in her dress pants and a black long sleeve shirt neatly tucked under her shirt.
Seeing me stood on bed, her lips curved into a half smile, her face looked a little bit dull than yesterday, which I clearly knew the reason.

"Good morning mom you are already dressed"I said flashing a bright toothy smile to change her dull mood. I don't want her to drive 6 hours straight while in a dilemma in her head.

"Good morning honey" finally I could see the familiar livenes on her face..

"Yes Baby I got up early, if you are not more sleepy, wash up and come for breakfast. I will be waiting there "

Nodding, I hurriedly stepped down from the bed while hugging my cuddling pillow to me. Exiting from the guest room which mom used I roamed my eyes to check whether if there is anyone as someone seeing me in this state is the least thing I wanted to happen.

The path clear as I quickly ran to upstairs hugging my pillow and swiftly sneaked in to my room then in no time i stepped to the bathroom for a quick wash up.

After my morning routines I quickly went to the walking closet  and wore whatever came to my han first as couldn't waste any seconds go through closet.Mom and aunt already in there sweet talk as i went there and uncle Collin already went out early for a another business meeting ,how much of a busy life he is having .

I quickened my steps to the kitchen as Martha was preparing pasta with a chicken salad for breakfast .With a greeting I took a seat beside mom as both of their attention turned to me.Small talks took place while we ate our breakfast ,The delicious juicy pastha is a farewell present for mom from Martha.

"Haz,why are you so silent sweety? "Aunt asked as she must have sensed the growing tension in me but I couldn't help with that this is the first time I'm going to separate from mom. Even though I'm not a little girl who want her mom,but  still it's hard to let her go. Even though I know I'm gonna miss her like hell but  I didn't want to concern them.snapping from my day dreaming I smiled sweetly to them .

"No aunt I'm fine, I was just pacing my mind here and there" I lied through my teeth but I know they didn't buy it.

"Kath, and Honey I think I have to go now "Saying mom stood from the table and walked over to me as I took a deep breath to block the tears which were trying to pool over.Her warm kisses on my head made me more emotional but I strictly warned myself not to cry Infront of them as it was embarrassing to cry like a baby girl over mom.

Kissing her goodbye and I withdrew myself from mom and took her small bag and walked out of the Kitchen and headed to the outside.

Mom's car was already there as Alex had parked it there, I put her bag on the back passenger seat.mom and aunt came outside as they were hugging each other. A single tear secretary escaped against my tight warning but before they noticed it I swiftly wiped it off.
For the one last time mom hugged me and I bid her my goodbye.

"Mom, don't forget your promise, okay and don't drive straight away, take some rest somewhere in the middle."I said with a more convincing voice.

"Ohh.. Honey don't worry about me ,and I will call you once i go there" saying mom got into the car and fastened her seat bell with a sweet goodbye smile.
Aunt came to my side while taking me to her embrace. We waved our hand and the car disappeared through the huge gates making a pang in my heart..
