Hazel's POV

I stood alone in the fitting room, My fingers trembled slightly as I smoothed out the delicate lace along my waist, my heart fluttering wildly in my chest. The mirror before me reflected a vision I could hardly believe was real, Yess I was in a wedding dress. I took a shaky breath, twirling slowly to catch every angle, the fabric whispering softly against my skin. The dress hugged my curves perfectly, the intricate lace and delicate beading catching the light with each tiny movement.

I felt tingles race across my skin, a mix of excitement and nerves that made my stomach flip, imagining what would be Hyden's reaction when he see me like this. Would he think I looked beautiful? What would be his reaction?? A blush crept up my cheeks at the thought, and I bit my lip, trying to calm the racing of my heart. My fingers brushed over the lace, tracing the delicate patterns, and I couldn't help but smile.

"Oh my God, Kath! Look at how beautiful our girl is!" Mom's voice jolted me back to reality, snapping me out of my trace of thoughts. For a moment, I had completely forgotten that both Mom and Aunt were in the fitting room with me. I turned, eyes wide, just in time to see them clasping their hands together like excited kids, their faces glowing with pure joy. They started clapping, giggling as they circled around me.

"Oh, this is just perfect!" Aunt gushed, turning to the shop assistant who had been helping me get into the dress. I swallowed hard, my cheeks burning as I took in their reactions. My nerves were still buzzing beneath my skin, seeing their eyes turn into heart shapes with tears glistening, though, my heart swell. Mom stepped forward, reaching out to fix a tiny fold in the lace along my shoulder, her fingers trembling slightly. "You look breathtaking, sweetheart," she whispered, her voice thick with emotion.

Aunt sighed dreamily, clasping her hands together. "Hyden is going to lose his mind when he sees you in this." she said, failing to hide the smirk spilling over her face. She still hadn't let go of the moment they had caught me with Hyden. The teasing had been relentless ever since, and from the way she was looking at me now, I knew she wasn't about to stop anytime soon. My stomach flipped violently at her words, and I bit my lip, trying to hold back a gasped. I glanced back at the mirror trying to avoid both of their teasing remarks.

"Aunt," I whined, my voice laced with embarrassment, my cheeks might be having the darkest shape of red but she just wiggled her brows, her smirk widening like she was enjoying my misery way too much.

"I'm just saying, sweetheart," she cooed, tilting her head dramatically.

"After what we walked in on, I doubt he'll even let you make it down the aisle without doing many naughty things." She gasped mockingly, placing a hand over her chest. "Oh, fie! We should pay more attention to them. We can't let them stay together before the wedding."

Mom gasped, swatting Aunt's arm. "Oh, stop it, Kath! You're embarrassing her." Aunt just laughed, unbothered.

"Oh, please! As if we didn't all see how my boy looks at her." My face burned as I groaned, burying it in my hands. There was no escaping this, was there?

After the fitting, we finally stepped out of the bridal boutique the last stop of what was supposed to be our final appointment for the day.

Jeez. Aunt and Mom had been dragging me all over the place since he announced them that we are getting married in week. From one shop to another, even squeezing in a visit to the parlor. They kept saying there was no way they could manage everything in just one week. Yess one week. I'm getting married in one week. The thought alone made my heart beat fastened, and before I could even process it properly, butterflies erupted in my stomach, fluttering wildly. It felt surreal. Just days ago, I couldn't have imagined this moment, and now, here I was, standing in the middle of a bustling street in broad daylight, a bride-to-be. Hyden's bride.
