Haze's pov

His fingers gripped my chin, lifting my face to meet his gaze. His eyes glistened in the dark, piercing into my soul. My breath quickened, a lump forming in my throat, and I struggled to keep my composure.

Without any further warning, his lips crashed onto mine, kissing me with the intensity of a starving man. His lips were relentless, demanding more with every passing second, leaving me breathless. My hands clutched onto his shirt as if my life depended on it. My mind went blank, enveloped in a foggy haze. His touch sent a whirlwind of sensations through my brain. Each time he gets close, my thoughts blur, and I lose control, as if my body is no longer my own.

As I drifted in a haze of bewildered thoughts, he finally released my lips, allowing me a breath. But he didn't stop there. His lips travelled down to my jaw, planting tender kisses that set my skin aflame. Meanwhile, his hands roamed over my bare stomach with a gentle but insistent touch, sending shivers through me. The warmth of his skin against mine ignites a fire deep within, and I can't help but surrender to the overwhelming sensation, but I was too scared to let my guard down.

He was doing exactly what he excels at, driving me to the brink of madness. I had to admit that, for a fleeting moment, I forgot the need to push him away.

"Stop, what are you doing?" I mumbled, struggling to push him away as I gasped for breath. But then he bit down on my sweet spot, a sharp, lingering reminder that I wasn't to move.

His lips brushed against my skin as he murmured, "Don't you remember? We have unfinished business." His voice, deep yet playful, was a teasing reminder of the intensely unfinished business we'd left unresolved this morning.

My face flushed with heat as I suddenly recalled the mortifying moment I'd been caught red-handed by Tash. I hadn't even realised I was blushing furiously until it was too late. My heart raced, pounding in my chest like a drum, as I struggled to find my voice.

I tried to steady my breath, but the warmth of his touch and the intensity in his eyes made it impossible to focus. His playful smirk only deepened my embarrassment, and I felt a mix of frustration and shy.

He was fully aware of the effect he had on me, and the way he drew me closer with every  passing second, only heightened my confusion. I wanted to protest, to remind him of the boundaries i had once set, but all I could manage was a breathless murmur as his lips lingered dangerously close.

"I don't hav_e any busines_s with you,let me go" I tried to say, but my voice faltered under the weight of his undeniable presence. His gaze, intense and unwavering, held mine captive.
The proximity was suffocating, and yet, there was something intoxicating about it. Every inch of space between us seemed to crackle with an unspoken tension. My mind screamed at me to push him away, to reclaim the distance that had once felt so safe, but my body betrayed me, frozen in the moment.

"I should let you go????" he whispered, his voice a low, dangerous growl that sent shivers down my spine. His breath fanned across my skin, faning as he spoke  "But where's the fun in that?" My mouth dropped hearing his mockery in his voice. for a second i almost believed him.

"Stop this nonsense. I want to sleep," I said, trying to keep my voice steady and firm but his smirk widened as if he could sense the turmoil raging inside me. The mockery in his voice made it clear, that I shouldn't expect any mercy from someone who thrived on making a joke out of everything, especially when it came to me. With that realisation burning in my mind, I didn't hesitate. I shoved at his chest, channelling all my frustration and anger into that single act.

"Get away from me," I said, my voice low but laced with a determination that I didn't even know I had but he was like a cement wall not even moving an inch.
