Sixty Two

"Well, well" said Stephen as he saw me sitting on Ronan's lap. "You two sorted out then?"

Ronan nodded. I looked at him curiously. "Wait a minute...."

"How does..."

"Did you..."

Stephen interrupted me. "No one told me Vic. I guessed. A long time ago"

"I'm glad you finally got together in fact!!"

I smiled, "so am I"

"Right come on missy. We need to make a call.." said Ronan meaningfully. 

"A call?"

He nodded. Ah yes, the doctors.

"Yeah, see you later Steo" I gave him a quick hug and me and Ro left the room hand in hand.

"I guess we should come clean with the others now..." I said quietly, looking down at our hands entwined. "I guess so. If they haven't guessed already...." I laughed. "Yeah..."

We stopped outside my room. "You coming in while I make the call?"

"Of course" I slipped the key card into the lock and Ronan followed me into the room. He sat down on the bed whilst I fiddled with my phone nervously. I realised quickly that I didn't know any decent doctors in London. 

"Ro..." I said quietly. "I don't suppose you know anyone...?"

"Hmmm. Let me call Mark" I nodded and sat down on the bed beside him.

I was only half listening to the conversation as I quickly typed Kim a message.

Hiya hun. Hope you're ok? M & R took it better than expected. Tho were both shocked. I'll call u later xx

"Ok thanks Mark" Ro ended the call, slipped his phone back in his jeans pocket and slipped his arm around me. I put my phone down on the bed and looked at Ro. "Marks gonna sort it" he said. "What did you tell him?"

"I said that we just needed to see a doctor cause one of us wasn't feeling well..."

"Thanks Ro"

"No worries babe" he said and leant it to kiss me softly. "Now, we have a while before we meet the others for dinner...what do you suggest we do" he said huskily. I looked in to eyes and swallowed. "I'm not sure.." I said coyly. "What did you have in mind?" 

He kissed me softly then pinned me gently to the bed beneath him. "I can think of a few things..."

We lay in silence content in each others arms for a good while afterwards. "Vic?"

"Hmmm?"

I rolled over and snuggled in closer to him. "Yeah?"

"i..."

"This is gonna sound silly but, I love you"

I shifted up the bed slightly and kissed his nose. "Ro, it doesn't sound silly at all"

"I love you. Have done for a long time..."
