"Vic?"
"Babe, Wake up"
"Hmmmm" I mumbled sleepily. I rolled over and opened one eye to see Ronan grinning at me.
"Hey..." I said quietly.
"Morning beautiful"
I was pretty sure I didn't look beautiful. I felt terrible. "Meh"
"Aw babe, come here" Ronan shifted himself closer to me and planted a kiss on my forehead.
"You sure you don't want me to come with you?"
I nodded. "Ok, so Kim's gonna be here in ten?"
"What?!" I opened both eyes and stared at him. "Ten minutes?!" Ronan nodded solemnly, "I tried to let you sleep for as long as possible babe"
"Thanks" I said with a wry smile, "and I appreciate it, but I could have done with a bit more time to get ready"
"Ah you'll be grand"
"Hmph" I mumbled unconvinced as I wriggled free from Ro's grasp and got out of bed slowly.
"Ah shite!" I cursed as I realised that I needed to go back to my own room to get ready as I only had the clothes I'd worn last night to dinner.
"What's up?" Ro had gotten out of bed himself now and was getting dressed. "All my stuff is still in my room"
"Hmmm, ok we'll sort it later. You better go and get ready, I'll send Kim to you if she knocks here ok?"
"Ok" I nodded.
"Don't worry Vic. whatever happens we'll still be together. I promise" I nodded as he pulled me into a hug.
"Good luck in the studio. I'll be back as soon as I can." I blew him a kiss as I left the room.
I went back to my own room, and got changed into a more appropriate outfit for a visit to the doctor's surgery. I picked up my coat, my bag and left the room, figuring I was probably already late and I'd wait for Kim in the corridor.
I came out of my room just as she was coming out of hers.
"You ready Vic"
"As I'll ever be" I said quietly. Kim put her arm around me. "You'll be fine. Come on"
