Luckily I'd already told my mum and dad, in fact, I'd called my mum just after I'd told Kim, but we hadn't gone to the press. Ronan said he didn't want a fuss. and I could understand that, particularly after their treatment of him when he and Yvonne had split.

But somebody had...and I was now apparently a local celebrity.

Shit!

I met with Katie in the coffee shop and it was evident that most people had already seen the local paper as there were a lot of whispers and stares in my direction. "Do you want to get coffee to go?" she asked as she saw my face.

"Uh huh"I muttered and nodded.

"We can sit in the back on the bookshop" I just nodded again. I felt a bit numb, I had seen the way that the press surrounded the lads, but had never been victim to it myself before, and it was odd.

Me and Katie made our way down the usually quiet street to the bookshop, but it was busy today, and we had to fight our way through the crowds. Once in the safety of the bookshop, the owner beckoned us through to the staff room.

I looked at the table which had the other local paper on it along with some nationals. I swallowed as I realised I was on pretty much all of them.

Oh god.

I asked her if she had a bathroom, she pointed in the right direction and I got there just in time before I was violently sick. I'd be glad when this stops. I thought to myself.

Pregnant author to marry her Irish heroine

Was one that made me laugh.

I pulled my phone from my bag and text Ronan.

We've been busted!!

I sent and waited for his reply. I glanced at my watch he was probably still in bed and I had probably just woken him up.

Ooops.

I know, was just about to call you. Is it ok to talk?

Sure

Less than a minute later my mobile was ringing. "Hello you"

"Hey babe, are you ok?"

"Yeh, I think so. It's a bit weird being splashed all over the papers though"

"Welcome to my world" he laughed.

"Mick rang me to tell me, so I went to the shop to see what I can find. My, they were busy weren't they?!"

I laughed again. "I look a state too!"

"You don't"

"I do"

"Vic, believe me. You don't" I recognised the slight change in his voice and realised that he was missing me in more ways than one.

"Hmmm" I muttered, "if you say so"

"I've gotta go Vic. Car's due in a sec"

"Ok babe"

"Vic"

Hmm?"

"I love you"

I felt a lump form in my throat. "I love you too Ro"

"Are you ok?" asked Katie concerned as I ended the call.

"Course" I nodded as I put my phone back in my bag. "Now, did you bring that pen I wanted...I need to get signing"
