Akuma is drinking with Rayleigh, Ember is passed out drunk on his lap
That's when oden appears

Roger: Rayleigh, something on your mind?

Roger: what was that?! I'm not old yet!
Akuma sat up: But seriously, you are incredibly strong
Roger: well that's what it's going to take to conquer these seas
Akuma: so that's you're dream, huh?
Roger: not quite, I don't want to conquer or rule anything, All I want is to be the one with the most freedom
Akuma is stunned for a few seconds before he chuckles

Akuma just leaned back and looked to the sky
Akuma: I don't know, I think I just want to live my life, I'm gonna travel the world, getting as strong as I can, then maybe when I'm satisfied find a girl, settle down and have a family, I may be known as a demon but I'm just a man, a man who travels the seas by himself
Roger: ever thought of joining a crew, a spot on mine is always open
Akuma laughs: Nah, joining a crew has always seemed like a pain, but tell you what
