They see the people from ebisu town laughing like there's no tomorrow
They just don't stop and the beast pirates laugh along with them
Hygoro: I can scarcely believe it, sir Yasue, he was alive all these years
Raizo: He knew about our strategy and that the enemy had thwarted it, sir Yasue, I see now, you let them seize you, your sacrifice has given us another chance
Luffy: there be some reason, right?
Ryo: yeah? There has too be, It doesn't matter who it is, no-one deserves to be laughed at when they die
Luffy: it's just not right
Hygoro: This is due to the side effects of the smile fruits, they're here as well, people who can only laugh even when they're sad
A few years ago, kaido and Orochi started importing them in exchange for weapons
When you eat them, you can no longer swim, but in return you'll gain the strength of a wild beast and their appearance as well, kaido wanted to give that power to as many of his underlings as possible, he wanted the strongest pirate crew the world had ever seen, but there's a catch, they had a 10% success rate, so if ten people ate one of those fruits, only one of them would gain the ability
The other nine would face the consequences without gaining anything in return, they can't swim and there's something else too, they lose the ability to express sorrow or anger, all they can do is laugh
Kaido's crew is divided into three categories
Waiters are the ones who are well waiting for a chance to eat one
The lucky ones who gained a power are called gifters
And then unlucky ones are the pleasures
That's why they are called smile fruits
But that's not it, that's not even the worse part, most smile fruits where discarded after only one bite, they couldn't make gifters but still passed on the negative side effects, So if he wanted to turn people into pleasures out of cruelty then he could, the town of leftovers where people are suffering Orochi was disgusted by them so he mixed in the failed smile fruits knowing they would eat them, of course after the first few times they knew what they where getting into, but they didn't have any choice, they where starving so they had to eat, so then Ebisu town was born where all the residents laugh no matter how much they are suffering where children can't even mourn the death of their parents
Speaking of children, here comes Yasue's daughter, desperately trying to heal her father, trying to bring him back begging him to get up, Orochi doesn't like that, so being the ruthless bastard he is aims his gun at the child and shoots, but in that second Zoro and Sanji appear to protect her
Luffy: Zoro,Sanji, Nice one!
Ryo: yeah great job you two! I only wish I was there
Then the Samurai rush at the duo under Orochi's orders but they take them down
Then two then immediately start arguing
But then they start attacking them again, but they fend them off
Zoro hands over the girl to Orochi and Zoro stares Orochi down, Sanji protects the girl
Zoro takes out all the Samruai who charged at him, then the flying blade attack headed right for Orochi, then another samurai appeaes and blocked it
Orochi is taken back to the castle, Zoro then gets shot at but franky appears and stops the bullets
He then grabs Yasue's body to get it out of there, Then ussop and Robin help him out, The Nami appears and strikes them with lightning
Luffy: You got this! Go kick their asses hell yeah!
Ryo just grins watching it
Hyogoro: Mr strawhat, Mr Ryo, those people showing on the display and they your crewmates
Luffy: guess I shouldn't cheer it's supposed to be a secret, 'he does his lying face' well it's probably ok 'he goes back to his normal face' Beat em up! Yeah nice! Like that! Show me whose boss! Zorojiro you can do it!
Queen: Oh so that moss head is your friend, that is the magistrate killer zoro-juro, he must be part of your crew
Luffy lying face: never seen the guy before nope!
Ryo groans
Queen: you really take me for a fool! Hahaha! I love it! This maniac really think he can get away with killing Orochi
Ryo: The guy deserves it anyway
Luffy: you bet he does! Kick his ass!
Queen: but that guy he's fighting is kyoshiro, there's no way he's going down easy
There's a new prisoner coming In apparently, a fearsome killer from the flower capital
He's a man covered im bandages, long blonde hair, purple lips and is laughing a lot

Ryo: (He looks familiar) 'he then catches a familiar scent' (Kid?)
And then there's another guy, eustass Kid is back in prison
Then everyone starts laughing at him
Luffy: it couldn't of been easy to break out of here, so why would he just surrender himself?
Ryo: Good question
Hitokiri keeps on laughing
Kid: Hey stop it! Come on dammit! I said stop, you always hated your laugh, this is wrong, this is messed up, you never laughed out loud, you couldn't stand to let anyone else hear it right and if someone else was stupid enough to make fun of your laugh, you'd beat the bastards half to death
Hitokiri keeps laughing
Eustass: Stop it 'he falls to his knees' I'm begging you, you started wearing a mask because you didn't even like to show your face right?, that's the man I knew, what the hell did they do to you, I've got no clue what happened after we were separated, did kaido do this?, Orochi?, where's everyone else!?, say something! Come on turn around, why won't you answer me!? Killer!
Ryo's eye snaps open: No way!
Luffy: that's who he is!?
Hyogoro: you've met that man before?, the murderer from the capital
Ryo: Yeah luffy's met him once, but it's been twice for me, this is not the fearsome warrior I met, he'd of seen this guy and sliced his head off
Luffy: Jaggy must have got caught when he tired to save him
Hygoro: he suffered a cruel fate, they must have gave him a smile fruit, now all his emotions are locked away, trapped behind a mask of endless laughter, Orochi you really are a heartless monster
Eutass: what in the hell did those bastards do to you? How dare you he's my partner! Who ever did this will pay! You sons of bitches where is everyone? Where's my crew!?
Killer is laughing but it's easy to see, that's he is also crying
Luffy: Hey balloon, Hurry up
Hygoro: Mr Strawhat?
Ryo: he said! Hurry up!
Queen: Huh? I'm kind of busy here
Ryo: we're sick of waiting
Luffy: let's do sumo
Luffy/Ryo: We'll end this
