After the tense ordeal at the airport, the family was finally home, their sanctuary away from the public eye. Y/N could still feel the lingering weight of the chaos from earlier, but the warmth and safety of their home quickly eased her nerves.

Once inside, Namjoon went to shower first while Y/N fed their daughter, who had woken up after the car ride. Her tiny eyes blinked sleepily as she latched on, Y/N gently stroking her daughter’s hair as she fed. The rhythmic sound of her daughter’s soft breathing and the quiet of their home made Y/N feel calm again.

When their daughter was finally asleep, Y/N carefully placed her in her crib, making sure she was snug and comfortable before returning to the living room. Namjoon was already there, freshly showered and scrolling through his phone, his eyebrows slightly furrowed in concentration.

As Y/N settled beside him on the couch, Namjoon glanced over at her with a soft smile. He then showed her his phone screen. “We’re trending,” he said quietly, still scrolling through Twitter.

Y/N leaned closer to look, seeing a flood of tweets about their arrival. But to her surprise, the majority of the posts weren’t just about them being back in Korea—fans were furious about the lack of privacy they had been afforded at the airport.

“Look at this,” Namjoon said, reading one of the tweets aloud. “‘I love Namjoon and respect his family, but today was too much. A real fan wouldn’t invade their privacy, especially when they have a baby. Leave them alone!’”

He scrolled down to read another one. “‘I’ve been a fan for years, but this was unacceptable. Reporters trying to touch his family? That’s crossing a line. Respect them as people, not just idols.’

Y/N listened as Namjoon continued to read through the tweets, most of them echoing the same sentiment. Their fans were disappointed with the way the reporters and some people at the airport had behaved, with many of them expressing support for how Namjoon had reacted.

“I’m glad they understand,” Y/N said softly, resting her head on Namjoon’s shoulder.

Namjoon nodded, his thumb still scrolling slowly. “Yeah. I know most of our fans are respectful, but it’s reassuring to see them defending us like this.” He paused, his eyes lingering on another tweet. “‘Seeing Namjoon so protective over his family today made me love and respect him even more. Family comes first, always.’”

He read that one aloud, and Y/N felt her heart swell at the sentiment. Namjoon had always been protective of her, but now, with their daughter in the picture, she could see that instinct had grown even stronger.

“They’re right, you know,” Y/N said, looking up at him with a soft smile. “You were incredible today.”

Namjoon blushed slightly, turning his gaze from the phone to her. “I just... I couldn’t stand seeing anyone try to get close to you or her. I won’t let anyone cross that line again.”

Y/N squeezed his hand, appreciating the fierce love and protection he showed for their family. “I know you won’t.”

They sat in a comfortable silence for a few moments, Namjoon’s phone forgotten as he wrapped his arm around Y/N, pulling her close. Despite the earlier chaos, this moment—the peace of being home, the knowledge that they were safe and supported—felt like a quiet victory.

Namjoon kissed the top of her head and whispered, “We’ll be okay. No matter what happens, as long as we’re together.”

Y/N nodded, feeling the truth of his words. They had faced challenges before, and there would be more in the future, but together, they could handle anything. And with the love and support from their fans, they knew they weren’t alone in the journey ahead.
