The first rays of morning sunlight gently filtered through the curtains, casting a warm glow across the bedroom. Namjoon stirred first, blinking sleepily as he adjusted to the soft light. He glanced down at Y/N, who was still nestled in his arms, her breathing steady and peaceful. A smile tugged at his lips as he watched her, the tranquility of the moment making his heart swell with love.

The house was quiet, the only sound the faint hum of the world outside. For a moment, Namjoon simply lay there, savoring the stillness. But then, as if on cue, a soft cry came from the next room. Their daughter was awake.

Namjoon carefully slipped out of bed, trying not to disturb Y/N. He quickly pulled on a shirt and padded quietly out of the room, heading toward the nursery. When he opened the door, he found his daughter lying in her crib, her tiny fists waving in the air as she fussed.

“Good morning, little one,” Namjoon whispered with a smile as he bent down to pick her up. The moment he cradled her in his arms, her cries began to quiet, and she gazed up at him with wide, curious eyes.

Namjoon gently rocked her, his heart melting at the sight of her. Every day, she seemed to grow a little more, and every day, he fell more in love with this tiny, perfect person they had brought into the world.

He carried her to the changing table and quickly took care of her morning routine, talking to her softly the whole time. “Let’s let Mommy sleep in a bit, hmm? She needs her rest.”

Once his daughter was changed and content, Namjoon carried her downstairs to the kitchen. He moved around quietly, not wanting to wake Y/N just yet. He prepared a bottle for their daughter and warmed it up, then settled into the living room to feed her.

As she drank, Namjoon couldn’t help but marvel at how natural this felt now. The first few weeks had been challenging, filled with sleepless nights and moments of uncertainty, but they had found their rhythm. He and Y/N were a team, supporting each other through every step of this new journey.

After the feeding, Namjoon held his daughter close, her tiny head resting against his chest. He could feel her warmth, her trust in him, and it filled him with a sense of responsibility and pride that he had never known before.

They sat like that for a while, Namjoon gently rocking back and forth, lost in his thoughts. He couldn’t wait to see what the future held for their little family. There were still so many firsts to experience, so many memories to make together.

A soft rustle from upstairs pulled Namjoon from his thoughts. He looked up to see Y/N standing at the top of the stairs, a sleepy smile on her face. She was still in her pajamas, her hair slightly tousled, and to Namjoon, she had never looked more beautiful.

“Morning,” she said softly as she made her way down the stairs.

“Morning,” Namjoon replied, his smile widening as she came to sit beside him on the couch.

Y/N leaned in to kiss his cheek, then gently stroked their daughter’s back. “She’s up early.”

“Yeah, she was hungry,” Namjoon said, his voice filled with the quiet joy of this new routine they were building together. “I figured I’d let you sleep in.”

Y/N’s smile widened as she rested her head on Namjoon’s shoulder, contentment washing over her. “Thank you.”

They sat there in comfortable silence, soaking in the peaceful morning, the warmth of their daughter between them, and the love that filled the room. Eventually, their daughter’s eyes began to droop, and soon she was fast asleep in Namjoon’s arms.

Namjoon carefully stood and carried her back upstairs to her crib. He laid her down gently, making sure she was tucked in snugly before stepping back and watching her sleep for a moment. It was a scene he knew he’d never tire of—his daughter, safe and sound, resting peacefully.

Returning to Y/N’s side, Namjoon took her hand. They had a whole day ahead of them, filled with all the little moments that made up their new life as parents. And as they sat down at the table to have breakfast together, Namjoon knew one thing for sure—he wouldn’t trade this for anything in the world.
