After talking late into the night, Namjoon and Y/N finally decided to head to bed. Their conversation had been filled with everything from practical concerns to dreams for the future, and by the time they lay down, they both felt a little more at ease. The weight of the day’s events had left them exhausted, but there was a quiet comfort in knowing they were facing this new chapter together.

As they slipped under the covers, Namjoon pulled Y/N close, wrapping his arms around her as she nestled against him. The warmth of his embrace and the steady rhythm of his heartbeat were all she needed to drift off to sleep. Namjoon stayed awake a little longer, his mind still racing with thoughts of the future. But eventually, the comfort of having Y/N by his side lulled him into a peaceful sleep.

The next morning, the soft light of dawn filtered through the curtains, casting a gentle glow over the room. Namjoon was the first to wake, his body still heavy with sleep but his mind immediately alert. He turned his head to the side, his gaze falling on Y/N, who was still sound asleep, cuddled up against him. Her hair was tousled, her face serene, and Namjoon couldn’t help but smile at how peaceful she looked.

Careful not to wake her, Namjoon shifted slightly, allowing him to slip one hand under the covers and rest it gently on her stomach. The thought of the tiny life growing inside her filled him with a sense of awe and wonder. He still couldn’t believe it—they were going to have a baby. It was the most incredible thing that had ever happened to him, and he knew his life would never be the same.

His hand lingered on her stomach, fingers lightly tracing the fabric of her nightshirt. There was nothing to feel yet, no outward sign of the life within, but just knowing it was there was enough to make his heart swell with emotion. He could already imagine the future—her belly growing rounder, the first time they would feel their baby kick, the day they would finally hold their child in their arms.

As he lay there, lost in his thoughts, he felt Y/N begin to stir beside him. Her eyes fluttered open, and when she saw him looking at her, she smiled—a soft, sleepy smile that made his heart skip a beat.

"Good morning," she murmured, her voice still thick with sleep.

"Good morning," Namjoon replied, leaning down to press a gentle kiss to her lips. It was a kiss filled with all the love and tenderness he felt for her, a promise that no matter what the future held, he would be there for her every step of the way.

When he pulled back, Y/N reached up to cup his cheek, her thumb brushing lightly over his skin. "You’re up early," she said softly.

"I couldn’t sleep," Namjoon admitted with a sheepish smile. "Too much on my mind." He glanced down at her stomach, his hand still resting there, and then back at her. "I still can’t believe it... that we’re going to have a baby."

Y/N’s smile widened, and she covered his hand with hers. "Neither can I," she confessed, her eyes shining with the same wonder and disbelief. "But I’m so happy, Joon. I couldn’t imagine doing this with anyone else."

Namjoon’s heart swelled with love for her, and he leaned in to kiss her again, this time longer and deeper. "We’re in this together," he whispered against her lips. "You, me, and our little one."

They lay there for a while longer, savoring the quiet intimacy of the moment. There was something magical about those early morning hours, when the world was still asleep and it felt like they were the only two people in existence. Wrapped in each other’s arms, they felt a deep sense of peace and contentment, knowing that whatever the day ahead might bring, they would face it together.

Eventually, the world outside began to wake, the sounds of the city filtering in through the window. But for now, Namjoon and Y/N remained in their little bubble, the soft glow of the morning sun warming the room and the promise of a new day stretching out before them.
