After breakfast, Namjoon and Y/N decided to spend some quality time with Namjoon’s sister. It had been a while since they’d all had the chance to hang out together, and with so much excitement in the air about the baby, they thought it would be fun to get out of the house and enjoy the day. They decided on a local café that Namjoon’s sister loved, known for its cozy atmosphere and delicious pastries. As they arrived at the café, the three of them were greeted by the warm scent of freshly brewed coffee and baked goods. The place was charming, with wooden tables, potted plants, and soft music playing in the background. After finding a cozy corner to settle in, they sat down and began to browse the menu.
Namjoon’s sister was bubbling with energy, clearly excited to be spending time with them. Y/N couldn’t help but smile, feeling the warmth of family around her. It was these simple moments that made everything feel so special.
After placing their orders, they leaned back in their chairs, letting the peaceful atmosphere of the café wash over them. Namjoon reached across the table and took Y/N’s hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. She smiled at him, her heart full.
“So, how does it feel to be an aunt-to-be?” Namjoon asked, his tone teasing as he looked at his sister.
Namjoon’s sister grinned, her eyes sparkling with excitement. “Honestly? I can’t wait! I’m already thinking of all the things I’m going to spoil this little one with. Toys, clothes, you name it!”
Y/N chuckled, leaning forward. “Just don’t spoil them too much. We’ll have to balance out the fun aunt with some discipline, you know.”
“Oh, I’ll leave the discipline to you two,” she said with a playful wink. “I’m just here for the fun parts.”
Namjoon laughed, shaking his head. “Sounds about right. I can already see you sneaking her candy when we’re not looking.”
His sister put on a mock-innocent expression. “Who, me? I would never!”
Y/N and Namjoon both laughed, enjoying the lighthearted teasing. It was clear that Namjoon’s sister was over the moon about becoming an aunt, and her enthusiasm was contagious.
As their drinks and pastries arrived, they continued to chat, the conversation flowing easily between them. Namjoon’s sister asked about the pregnancy, how Y/N was feeling, and if they had thought about names yet. Y/N and Namjoon shared what little they had discussed so far, and his sister eagerly offered her own suggestions, some of which were met with playful groans from Namjoon.
“I’m just saying,” she said with a grin, “if you name her after me, you’re guaranteed a cool kid.”
Namjoon rolled his eyes affectionately. “We’ll keep that in mind.”
As they enjoyed their food, the conversation naturally shifted from one topic to another. They talked about childhood memories, upcoming plans, and even joked about who the baby might take after in looks and personality.
“You know,” Namjoon’s sister said thoughtfully, “if she end up being as clumsy as you, Namjoon, you two are going to have your hands full.”
Y/N laughed, nodding in agreement. “That’s definitely a possibility. But we’ll love her no matter what.”
Namjoon smiled, a soft look in his eyes as he glanced between Y/N and his sister. “I’m just glad our baby will have such a wonderful family around them. It means the world to me.”
His sister reached across the table and squeezed his hand, her expression sincere. “We’re all here for you, both of you. And this baby is going to be so loved, you have no idea.”
Y/N felt a swell of emotion at the words, her heart full of gratitude for the love and support they had. This was what she had always hoped for—a strong, supportive family, united in their love for each other and their excitement for the future.
As they finished up at the café and prepared to head out, Y/N couldn’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of contentment. Life was good, and the future was bright. With Namjoon by her side and a loving family around them, she knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, they would face them together—stronger and more united than ever.
