The day after the livestream was quiet, a stark contrast to the buzz of excitement that had surrounded them the previous night. Namjoon and Y/N spent the morning reading through messages from fans and friends, all congratulating them on the upcoming arrival of their baby. The outpouring of love made them feel supported and even more excited about the future.

As the afternoon rolled around, they found themselves lounging on the couch, a soft blanket draped over Y/N's legs as she rested her head on Namjoon's shoulder. Namjoon was gently rubbing her bump, his touch light and comforting.

"You know," Namjoon began, his voice thoughtful, "I’ve been thinking about the future a lot. About what kind of parents we’re going to be."

Y/N smiled, tilting her head to look up at him. "I’ve been thinking about that too. I wonder what our baby will be like—if she/he will be more like you or me."

Namjoon chuckled softly. "I hope she/he get your smile. It’s my favorite thing in the world."

Y/N blushed at the compliment, her heart swelling with affection. "And I hope she/he get your heart. You’re the kindest person I know."

They fell into a comfortable silence, their thoughts drifting to the life they were building together. The enormity of what was happening was slowly sinking in, but rather than feeling overwhelmed, they felt ready—ready to embrace this new chapter as a family.

"Have you thought about names?" Y/N asked after a while, her voice soft and curious.

"A little," Namjoon admitted. "But I think I want to wait until we know if it’s a boy or a girl before we really decide. What about you?"

"Same here," she replied. "But I’ve been making a little list, just in case. We’ll have plenty of time to figure it out."

Namjoon nodded, his hand still gently stroking her bump. "Yeah, we’ve got time. I just want to make sure we choose something that’s meaningful, something that represents who she/he is and who we are together."

Y/N smiled at his thoughtfulness. It was one of the many reasons she loved him so much. "We’ll find the perfect name when the time is right," she said, her voice filled with certainty.

As the day wore on, they moved from the couch to the kitchen, where Namjoon began preparing dinner. He insisted on doing most of the cooking these days, wanting to take care of Y/N as much as possible. She watched him as he moved around the kitchen, a sense of contentment settling over her.

"Do you think we’ll be able to handle it all?" Y/N asked as Namjoon set the table, her voice carrying a hint of anxiety.

Namjoon paused, looking at her with a reassuring smile. "We’re going to figure it out together, one step at a time. And we’ve got so much support—from the members, our families, and even our fans. We’re not alone in this."

Y/N nodded, feeling a wave of calm wash over her. "You’re right. I’m just nervous, I guess. It’s a big change."

"It is," Namjoon agreed, walking over to her and pulling her into a gentle hug. "But we’re going to be okay. We’ve got each other, and that’s all we need."

They ate dinner together, the conversation light and filled with laughter. It was moments like these that reminded them of the strength of their relationship—the way they could find comfort in each other no matter what was happening in their lives.

After dinner, they decided to take a short walk around the neighborhood. The evening air was cool, and the sky was painted with the warm colors of the setting sun. They walked hand in hand, talking about their hopes and dreams for the future.

"I want our baby to grow up surrounded by love," Y/N said as they strolled down a quiet street. "I want her/him to know that she/he are safe and cherished, no matter what."

"Of course," Namjoon promised, his voice firm. "We’ll make sure of it."

When they returned home, the day slowly came to an end. They settled into bed, Y/N curling up against Namjoon’s side as he wrapped his arms around her. The room was filled with a peaceful silence, the kind that only comes when you’re truly at ease.

"I love you," Y/N whispered, her voice filled with emotion.

"I love you too," Namjoon replied, kissing the top of her head. "More than anything."

As they drifted off to sleep, their hearts were full of hope and love. The future was uncertain, but as long as they had each other, they knew they could face whatever came their way. Together, they were stronger than ever.
