A week had passed since Namjoon and Y/N made their relationship public, and life had settled into a new rhythm. The initial whirlwind of media attention had started to calm down, and they were gradually adjusting to their new normal. However, the demands of pregnancy were beginning to take their toll on Y/N.

Morning sickness had become a more frequent and unwelcome visitor, often leaving her feeling drained and nauseous. Most mornings, she struggled to even get out of bed, preferring the comfort of the covers as she waited for the queasiness to pass. Namjoon, ever attentive, was always by her side, doing everything he could to make her feel better.

It had become a routine—Y/N would wake up feeling sick, and Namjoon would be right there with a glass of water and some crackers, the few things she could stomach early in the day. His concern was palpable, and he seemed determined to make sure she had everything she needed, no matter how small.

"How are you feeling today?" Namjoon asked softly one morning as he handed her a glass of ginger tea, hoping it would help settle her stomach.

Y/N took a sip, grateful for his thoughtfulness, though the nausea still lingered. "A little better than yesterday, I think. But this morning sickness thing is no joke."

Namjoon smiled sympathetically, brushing a strand of hair away from her face. "I know it’s rough, but you’re doing great. Just take it easy, okay? I’ll be here to take care of everything else."

True to his word, Namjoon had taken on the role of caretaker without hesitation. He cooked simple, nourishing meals, making sure they were things Y/N could actually eat without feeling worse. He kept the apartment tidy, ran errands, and even picked up some of her work responsibilities when she was too exhausted to manage them.

Whenever Y/N tried to protest, saying she didn’t want to burden him, Namjoon would simply shake his head and give her that gentle, reassuring smile. "You’re carrying our baby, Y/N. Taking care of you is the least I can do."

His presence was a constant comfort to her. Even when she felt at her lowest, Namjoon was there, reminding her that she wasn’t alone in this. They were a team, facing everything together, and his support made all the difference.

One afternoon, after another bout of morning sickness had kept her in bed most of the day, Y/N looked over at Namjoon as he sat beside her, reading quietly. The sight of him so focused and calm brought a wave of emotion over her. She reached out, placing her hand over his.

"Thank you, Joon," she said softly, her voice filled with gratitude.

Namjoon looked up from his book, surprised by the sudden seriousness in her tone. "For what?"

"For everything," she replied. "For taking care of me, for being so patient and understanding. I don’t know how I’d get through this without you."

Namjoon’s expression softened, and he squeezed her hand gently. "You don’t have to thank me, Y/N. I’m just doing what I should be doing. I love you, and I love our baby. I want to be here for you, through everything."

Y/N’s eyes welled up with tears, touched by his words. "I love you too," she whispered.

Namjoon leaned in, pressing a tender kiss to her forehead. "We’re in this together, remember? We’ll get through the tough days, and we’ll celebrate the good ones. And soon enough, we’ll have our little one here with us."

Y/N nodded, feeling a sense of peace wash over her despite the discomfort she was experiencing. With Namjoon by her side, she knew they could handle anything that came their way.

The rest of the week continued in much the same way. Namjoon remained steadfast, always by Y/N’s side, offering support and love in every way he could. Whether it was cooking her favorite meal or simply sitting with her in silence when she didn’t feel like talking, he made sure she knew she was never alone.

Despite the challenges of morning sickness and the general fatigue that came with pregnancy, Y/N found herself feeling more grateful than ever for Namjoon. His care and devotion were a constant reminder of just how strong their bond was, and she knew that together, they could face whatever the future held.

As the week came to a close, Y/N started to feel a bit more like herself again, the worst of the morning sickness slowly subsiding. But even on the days when she felt at her lowest, she knew she had Namjoon to lean on. And that made all the difference.
