It had been a week since Y/N and Namjoon brought their daughter home, and in that time, they had slowly found their rhythm as new parents. The first few days had been tough, filled with sleepless nights and moments of uncertainty. But now, their little family was settling into a more manageable routine. Their daughter was sleeping longer stretches at night, allowing Y/N and Namjoon to finally get some much-needed rest.

Today was a special day. Y/N's close friends were coming over to meet her daughter for the first time, and she was excited to introduce them to the newest member of her family. Namjoon was at the company for a few hours, catching up on some work, but he would be back later in the day.

Y/N had spent the morning tidying up the house, making sure everything was ready for her friends' visit. She glanced over at her daughter, who was peacefully sleeping in her bassinet in the living room. Her heart swelled with love as she watched the tiny rise and fall of her baby's chest, feeling grateful for this precious little life.

The doorbell rang, pulling Y/N from her thoughts. She quickly went to open the door, a smile already on her face as she greeted her friends. They had come bearing gifts and flowers, their faces lighting up as they saw Y/N standing there.

"Congratulations, Mama!" one of her friends exclaimed as they all hugged her.

"Thank you," Y/N replied, beaming with joy. She felt a rush of warmth as she led them into the living room, excited for them to meet her daughter.

As they entered the room, their eyes immediately went to the bassinet where the baby lay. They all gathered around, gasping and cooing as they caught sight of her.

"Oh my goodness, she's absolutely beautiful!" one of them whispered, her voice full of awe.

"She's so tiny!" another added, leaning in closer to get a better look.

Y/N's heart swelled with pride as she watched her friends admire her daughter. She had felt so many emotions in the past week—excitement, fear, exhaustion, joy—but seeing her friends fall in love with her little girl filled her with an overwhelming sense of happiness.

"She really is," Y/N said softly, smiling down at her baby. "I still can't believe she's ours."

One of her friends turned to her with a knowing smile. "You're glowing, Y/N. Motherhood suits you."

Y/N blushed slightly, feeling both flattered and grateful for the support of her friends. "It's been an adjustment, but I wouldn't trade it for anything."

They all settled down in the living room, chatting and catching up while the baby continued to sleep peacefully. Y/N's friends asked her all sorts of questions—about the birth, how she and Namjoon were handling parenthood, and what it was like to have a newborn at home. Y/N answered them all with a mix of honesty and humor, sharing both the challenges and the joys of the past week.

After a while, the baby began to stir in her bassinet, her tiny hands stretching up as she woke up from her nap. Y/N's friends immediately gathered around again, eager to see her awake.

"Do you want to hold her?" Y/N asked, looking at her closest friend, who had been practically bursting with excitement to meet the baby.

Her friend's eyes lit up, and she nodded eagerly. Y/N carefully lifted her daughter from the bassinet and handed her over, watching as her friend cradled the baby with a look of pure adoration.

"She's so precious," her friend whispered, gently rocking the baby in her arms.

Y/N smiled, feeling a deep sense of contentment as she watched her friends interact with her daughter. This was the life she had always dreamed of—surrounded by love, with a beautiful family and supportive friends.

The afternoon passed quickly, filled with laughter, stories, and the shared joy of welcoming a new life into the world. Y/N felt grateful to have such wonderful friends by her side, supporting her every step of the way.

As the visit came to an end, her friends hugged her tightly, promising to visit again soon. They couldn't wait to watch her daughter grow up and be there for every milestone along the way.

After they left, Y/N stood in the quiet living room, her daughter back in her bassinet, now peacefully asleep once more. She felt a wave of gratitude wash over her as she looked around the room, realizing just how lucky she was to have such love and support in her life.

A little while later, Namjoon returned home, his face lighting up when he saw Y/N and their daughter. He leaned down to kiss Y/N softly, wrapping his arms around her as they stood together, looking down at their sleeping baby.

"How was your day?" Namjoon asked, his voice warm and full of affection.

"It was wonderful," Y/N replied, leaning into his embrace. "My friends came over, and they absolutely adore her."

"I'm not surprised," Namjoon said with a smile. "She's pretty easy to love."

Y/N nodded, resting her head against Namjoon's chest as they stood together in the quiet room, their hearts full of love for their little family.
