The drive to the hospital felt like it took forever, even though it was only a short distance. Y/N’s mind was racing, each contraction reminding her that she was about to meet her baby. Namjoon held her hand the entire way, offering words of comfort and encouragement as he drove as quickly and safely as possible.

When they arrived at the hospital, the staff quickly guided Y/N to a private room. She was given a hospital gown to change into, and as she did, the reality of what was happening started to sink in. The contractions were coming more frequently now, each one stronger than the last. Namjoon was by her side, helping her through the pain, reminding her to breathe, and telling her how proud he was of her.

After Y/N had changed, the nurses monitored her progress, explaining that it would be a while before she was fully dilated and ready to push. The hours that followed felt like an eternity. Y/N was in pain, gripping Namjoon’s hand tightly through each contraction. The intensity of the pain was unlike anything she had ever experienced, and despite her efforts to stay calm, fear and anxiety crept in.

Namjoon stayed by her side, his voice soothing as he whispered reassurances in her ear. “You’re doing amazing, Love. Just breathe. I’m right here with you.”

She nodded, trying to focus on his voice and the love she felt from him. “It hurts so much, Joonie,” she whispered, tears welling up in her eyes.

“I know, baby, I know,” he said, his heart aching to see her in pain. “But you’re so strong, and our little one is almost here. Just a little while longer.”

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the nurse informed them that it was time. Y/N was fully dilated, and they were ready to move her to the delivery room. The realization that she was about to give birth hit her like a wave—this was it. She was about to meet her daughter.

They wheeled her into the delivery room, the bright lights and sterile environment making everything feel surreal. Namjoon was right beside her, holding her hand as she was positioned on the delivery bed. The medical team moved efficiently around them, preparing for the delivery.

“Okay, Y/N,” the doctor said with a kind smile. “You’re doing great. It’s time to push. Take a deep breath and push with everything you’ve got when the next contraction comes.”

Y/N nodded, her heart racing. She was nervous, scared, and overwhelmed, but also filled with a deep sense of determination. She squeezed Namjoon’s hand, drawing strength from his presence.

“I’m here, love,” Namjoon whispered, his voice steady despite the tears in his eyes. “We’re about to meet our baby girl.”

The contractions were intense, and with each push, Y/N felt the strain on her body. The pain was excruciating, but she pushed through it, focusing on the thought of holding her daughter in her arms.

“You’re doing so well, Y/N,” the doctor encouraged. “Keep going, just a few more pushes.”

Namjoon wiped the sweat from her forehead, his heart breaking as he watched her struggle but knowing she was so close. “You’ve got this, baby. Just a little more.”

With one final, agonizing push, Y/N felt a sudden release, followed by the sound of a baby’s cry filling the room. Tears immediately sprang to her eyes as she realized what had just happened. Their daughter was here.

The doctor quickly cleaned and wrapped the baby before placing her on Y/N’s chest. The moment Y/N looked down at her daughter’s tiny face, a flood of emotions washed over her—relief, joy, overwhelming love. She couldn’t believe that this little person had been growing inside her all this time.

“She’s beautiful,” Y/N whispered, tears streaming down her cheeks as she gently cradled her daughter.

Namjoon leaned over, his own tears falling freely as he looked at their baby girl. “She’s perfect,” he whispered, kissing Y/N’s forehead before pressing a soft kiss to their daughter’s tiny head.

The room was filled with a quiet, reverent joy as they marveled at their newborn. Y/N felt an indescribable bond with this tiny human, a love so profound that it took her breath away. All the pain and fear of the past hours melted away as she held her daughter close, feeling her warmth and hearing her soft cries.

“Welcome to the world, little one,” Namjoon said softly, his voice full of emotion. “We’ve been waiting for you.”

Y/N looked up at Namjoon, her heart swelling with love for him and their new family. “We did it,” she whispered, her voice thick with tears. “She’s finally here.”

Namjoon nodded, unable to find the words to express how he felt. All he could do was hold his family close, his heart overflowing with gratitude and love.

In that moment, everything felt perfect. The world outside the hospital room faded away, and all that mattered was the tiny, beautiful life they had brought into the world. Their journey as parents had just begun, and they were ready to face it together, with all the love and strength they could muster.

As Y/N gazed down at her daughter, she knew that nothing would ever be the same. Their lives had changed forever, in the most beautiful way possible. And she couldn’t wait to see what the future held for their little family.
