After leaving the café, Namjoon, Y/N, and his sister decided to take a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood. The sun was warm but not too intense, and a gentle breeze made the walk even more enjoyable. The neighborhood was charming, with tree-lined streets, small shops, and a few people out and about enjoying the day.As they walked, a few fans recognized Namjoon and Y/N, offering them warm smiles and congratulations. The couple received the well-wishes graciously, Namjoon’s hand never leaving Y/N’s as they exchanged small pleasantries with those who approached them. It was heartening to feel the support from their fans, even in these simple, spontaneous interactions.
After some time, they found themselves meandering back toward Namjoon’s parents’ house. The day had been wonderful, filled with laughter, teasing, and shared memories, but it had also been a bit tiring, especially for Y/N.
By the time they arrived back home in the late afternoon, Y/N could feel the day catching up to her. She yawned as they walked inside, the cozy warmth of the house welcoming them back.
“You look like you could use some rest,” Namjoon said gently, noticing the tiredness in her eyes.
Y/N nodded, giving him a small smile. “I think I’ll lie down for a bit.”
Namjoon placed a tender kiss on her forehead. “Go ahead, love. I’ll come check on you later.”
Y/N made her way to the bedroom, grateful for the comfort of the soft bed. As soon as she lay down, she felt her body relax, and it didn’t take long for her to drift off into a deep, peaceful sleep.
Namjoon quietly closed the bedroom door behind her, ensuring she had the privacy and quiet she needed to rest. He then headed back to the living room, where his family was waiting. His sister was scrolling through her phone, likely checking out some of the photos they’d taken during their outing, while his mom was in the kitchen, preparing a light snack.
“Is she resting?” his mom asked as Namjoon joined her.
“Yeah, she was pretty tired,” Namjoon replied, leaning against the counter. “It’s been a long day, but a good one.”
His mom smiled warmly at him. “I’m glad you’re here, spending time with us. It’s important, especially now.”
Namjoon nodded, appreciating the moment. He knew how much this time with his family meant, not just to them but to him as well. With everything going on—the baby on the way, their relationship in the public eye, and their careers—it was grounding to be in a place where things were simple, where he could just be himself, surrounded by those who loved him unconditionally.
He spent the next hour or so enjoying the time with his family, catching up with his sister, and chatting with his mom and dad. They talked about everything, from how they were preparing for the baby to more lighthearted topics, like the upcoming holidays and family traditions they wanted to continue.
As the evening began to settle in, Namjoon found himself glancing toward the bedroom door, thinking of Y/N. He couldn’t help but smile, knowing she was just a few steps away, resting peacefully. He knew how much he loved her, but moments like this made it even clearer—his life with her was everything he had ever hoped for.
Eventually, as the sun began to set, Namjoon excused himself to go check on her. He quietly opened the bedroom door, peeking inside to find her still sound asleep. The sight of her, curled up and resting, brought a soft smile to his face. He gently walked over to the bed, sitting down beside her for a moment, just watching her breathe in and out, peaceful and serene.
After a few minutes, Namjoon decided to let her sleep a little longer. He brushed a stray hair from her face and placed a soft kiss on her temple before heading back out to rejoin his family. He knew that when she woke up, they’d be able to enjoy the rest of the evening together, recharged and content after a day filled with love and happiness.
