Four months into her pregnancy, Y/N was beginning to feel the changes in her body more profoundly. While her baby bump wasn’t visible yet, she could sense the life growing inside her, and each day brought a new awareness of the little one she and Namjoon were eagerly awaiting.

It was late at night, and the two of them were winding down after a long day. They had settled into bed, the room dimly lit by the soft glow of the bedside lamp. Namjoon was lying on his back, one arm around Y/N as she rested her head on his chest. The steady rhythm of his heartbeat was soothing, and she felt completely at peace in his embrace.

As they lay there in comfortable silence, Y/N’s thoughts drifted to the future. She imagined what their baby would look like, whether they would inherit Namjoon’s dimples or her smile, and what kind of parents they would be. The anticipation was both exciting and a little nerve-wracking, but she knew they were in this together.

Just as she was about to drift off to sleep, Y/N suddenly felt something—an unfamiliar sensation deep within her abdomen. It was subtle, almost like a flutter, but unmistakably there. Her eyes widened in surprise, and she instinctively placed her hand on her stomach.

Namjoon noticed the change in her posture and looked down at her with concern. "Y/N? What is it?"

She didn’t answer immediately, too focused on the tiny movement she’d just felt. A few seconds later, it happened again—a gentle, almost imperceptible shift, as if the baby was letting her know they were there.

"I think... I think I just felt the baby move," Y/N whispered, her voice filled with awe.

Namjoon’s eyes widened in response, his concern quickly turning into excitement. "You did? Are you sure?"

Y/N nodded, her hand still resting on her stomach. "Yes, I’m sure. It was so small, but I definitely felt it."

Without hesitation, Namjoon placed his hand over hers, his palm warm against her skin. They both held their breath, waiting to see if the baby would move again. For a moment, there was nothing, just the sound of their breathing in the quiet room. But then, there it was—a tiny flutter, like the wings of a butterfly, brushing against the inside of Y/N’s belly.

Namjoon’s eyes lit up with pure joy. "I felt it too!" he exclaimed softly, his voice filled with wonder. "That’s our baby..."

Y/N smiled up at him, her heart swelling with emotion. "It’s incredible, isn’t it? I can’t believe we’re already at this stage."

Namjoon’s gaze softened as he leaned down to press a gentle kiss to her stomach, his hand still resting on the spot where they’d felt the movement. "Our little one is saying hello," he murmured, his voice filled with tenderness.

Y/N watched him, her heart brimming with love for the man beside her and the life they had created together. Seeing Namjoon so connected to their baby made her feel even more certain that they were ready for this new chapter in their lives.

As the excitement of the moment began to fade into a peaceful calm, Namjoon wrapped his arms around Y/N and pulled her close. "I can’t wait to meet our baby," he whispered against her hair, his voice tinged with emotion.

"Me too," Y/N replied, snuggling into his embrace. "But for now, I’m just happy to know that our baby is growing and healthy."

Namjoon nodded, holding her tightly as they both settled back into bed. The baby’s first movements had been a small but significant milestone, one that made the reality of their impending parenthood feel even more real.

With a shared sense of joy and anticipation, they drifted off to sleep, their hands still intertwined over Y/N’s belly. The future was unfolding before them, and they were ready to embrace it—one flutter at a time.
