"So, after classes resume, you will have decided on a secretary?" Horikita asked.
"Correct," I answered.
Horikita stared at me intently before he sighed.
"I suppose you did say that to begin with. However, I want you to know that this is of utmost importance."
"Senpai, you're being quite a stickler," Nagumo said with a smile.
Horikita sighed and said "someone has to fill in the gaps that your flirting is causing."
Asahina, who was carrying a cup of tea over to Nagumo's desk, dropped it and flushed deeply. Nagumo looked slightly embarrassed.
"Horikita senpai, I don't believe you have any right to say that when you act like an old married couple with Tachibana senpai," I said.
Tachibana, who was carrying a cup of tea over to Nagumo's desk, dropped it and flushed deeply. Horikita rubbed his forehead like he had a headache.
"You should really keep quiet, or do you not know how?"
I acted confused and said "what are you even talking about?"
"You can't be serious."
I tilted my head in "confusion." Horikita groaned.
Horikita then mumbled, "why is everyone here so incompetent?"
"That wasn't very nice..." I said, pretending to be sad, however, my monotone voice failed me.
"Stop, you're failing miserably."
Nagumo, who recovered from his embarrassment, said "I don't think he should stop. He's trying to express himself, shouldn't we encourage that?"
Horikita looked like he wanted this meeting to end, however, I think that hope was diminishing with each additional statement.
"Is there a reason why you're in such a rush? Do you have a date with Tachibana senpai after this?" I asked.
Tachibana, who was carrying another cup of tea after dropping the first, dropped the cup of tea with her face becoming bright red.
"Don't you guys have anything better to do with your time?" Horikita asked.
Nagumo and I looked at each other, and we knew exactly what to say.
"Of course not, I have to leave tomorrow, what could I even accomplish?" I asked.
"Same with me, I'm building bonds with the student council, making us a higher functioning unit," Nagumo said like it was natural.
"Wait...could it be?" I asked, following up on Nagumo's comment.
"Could it be?" Nagumo asked, pretending like he didn't know.
"Could it be that Horikita senpai doesn't want the student council to be close?"
Nagumo feigned sadness and said "senpai...I thought you were looking out for us..."
Horikita was rubbing his forehead, "why do I even bother with these meetings?"
Nagumo gasped and said "he truly doesn't want us to be close!"
"Don't worry Nagumo senpai, even if Horikita senpai doesn't want that, we will always rebel."
"Of course, it is what we must do!"
A snap then resonated through the room. Kiriyama had his teeth clenched.
"Can you guys shut up for one second!?" He yelled.
"I thought I said to remove him from the student council," I said.
