A Night of Eternal Love:
Ruhanika's heart raced as she entered the room. The soft glow of the candles bathed the space in a warm, golden light, casting flickering shadows over the bed that was meticulously adorned with rose petals. Each petal seemed to mirror the rapid beating of her heart. Her breath hitched as Abhinav's presence enveloped her from behind, his strong arms wrapping around her waist. The warmth of his body seeped through the delicate fabric of her bridal lehenga, grounding her in this moment, in their reality.
"Are you ready, Rooh?" he whispered, his voice a deep rumble filled with both tenderness and desire. His breath was hot against her ear, sending shivers down her spine.
Ruhanika turned in his arms, her dark eyes meeting his, so full of love that it took her breath away. She reached up, wrapping her arms around his neck, holding him close. "I became yours the moment you made me your bride," she whispered back, her voice trembling with emotion.
Abhinav's eyes softened, filled with that intense mixture of devotion and need. His lips curved into a smile that made her heart swell. Gently, he took her hand, guiding her towards the dressing table. The intimacy of the moment—of just them—was overwhelming, but in the best way possible. He pulled out a chair, motioning for her to sit down.
Ruhanika tilted her head, her brow furrowing slightly in curiosity. "What's this about?" she asked softly, her voice barely above a whisper.
He smiled, his eyes never leaving hers. "Those jewels... they look heavy. Aren't they uncomfortable?"
A soft chuckle escaped her lips. "Yes, they are a bit much," she admitted, settling into the chair.
Their eyes met in the mirror. The reflection of them together felt surreal, as if it was a vision of the future, a promise of all that lay ahead. Abhinav's gaze, full of love and tenderness, made her blush. "You look beautiful," he whispered, his words laced with adoration.
"Thank you," she murmured, her voice barely audible. "I feel like a queen."
Abhinav leaned closer, his breath fanning against her ear. "And you are," he said softly, his voice unwavering. "My queen."
With gentle hands, Abhinav began removing her bridal veil, his fingers brushing lightly against her neck as he did so. Ruhanika shivered at his touch, goosebumps rising along her skin.
"Are you cold?" he asked, concern evident in his tone.
She shook her head, her voice soft and vulnerable. "No... just... sensitive."
His lips quirked in a tender smile, understanding the unspoken emotion behind her words. "Let's take this off too," he said, referring to her heavy necklace. With delicate precision, he undid the clasp, and as the weight of the jewelry lifted, Ruhanika sighed in relief.
"That feels much better," she said, tilting her head slightly as he worked to remove her earrings, his fingers grazing her skin with the gentlest of touches.
"How about a massage?" Abhinav offered, his hands already settling on her shoulders.
Ruhanika jumped slightly at the unexpected touch, but the tension melted away as he began to rub her neck in slow, soothing circles. A contented sigh escaped her lips as she let herself relax under his skilled hands.
