I've been on the phone all morning with my manager, trying to set up details for the upcoming tour. I'm glad that I'll be starting off in the Northeast, since that gives me leeway to spend some more time in Philly and for my Times Square visit for New Year's Eve, which I just reserved last night.
My manager Anthony told me that I should be planning out my concert ideas, such as practicing song orders, dance moves, etc. He even advised me to go to the Wells Fargo Center sometime to practice on the stage when no one else is in the building, just to get a gist of what performing on stage is truly like. Good idea, to be honest. Just being on stage and going at my own pace to prepare for what is truly to come, and what I've dreamed about my whole life; being a star. I found out my official American concert schedule as well.
January 6th, 2011: Philadelphia
January 12th, 2011: New York
January 20th, 2011: Chicago
February 2nd: Boston
February 10th, 2011: Nashville
February 18th, 2011: New Orleans
February 25th, 2011: Portland
March 1st, 2011: Jacksonville
March 12th, 2011: Miami
March 15th, 2011: San Antonio
March 20th, 2011: Santa Monica
I decide to kick back today and take Anthony's advice about planning for my concerts. I check out and go over the Doo-Wops & Hooligans album, and I plan out entrances, which order I should play the songs in, etc. It's also a good idea to interact with the crowd, in order to get my fans going and show them some appreciation for admiring my work. It works out so damn well that my first concert will be in Philly; gives me enough time to even practice on stage. I'll figure out when to do that eventually.
Since I've been so backed up with music and Amber (not complaining), I've decided to call Alejandro today. After all, he's the one who helped bring me here from the LAX airport and he's been a close family friend of mine for so long that I really should be keeping in touch with my pals back in LA.
"Hey, Bruno! What's up? I heard about your tour! Congratulations man!" Alejandro says as he answers the phone.
"Aye, what up? It's been so long, man," I respond with a smile.
"Hope you're enjoying Philly. Tell your Uncle Juan I said hello. And by the way, how are those cheesesteaks?"
"I will. And oh, man, they're fucking amazing. You gotta come here one day with me, bud," I respond with a smile.
"That's awesome! I'm sure you've seen the tourist spots."
"Oh, I have. My friend showed me."
"Glad you made some new friends there! How are the Philly ladies?"
"Hahaha, funny you say that. The friend who showed me around the city is named Amber. She works at this delicious cafe downtown. She's great, she really is," I respond.
"You know, I was never crazy about Annika, Bruno..."
"Yeah I know, we've actually been having issues prior to me coming to Philly. I'm genuinely catching feelings for Amber," I say.
"That's great! I just have a weird feeling about Annika for some reason," he says a bit uneasily. Hmm, I wonder why...
"Yeah... anywho, I've been writing new songs," I respond.
