I'm still in disbelief at the fact that Amber came to visit me at my concert last night. It's truthfully like a dream come true; I get to spend time in the beautiful city of Santa Monica with the girl who has become my other half. That's how I feel about her now; my feelings for her, and I'm sure her feelings too by the way we were casting our gazes upon each other last night, are increasing steadily into love.

I'm not ashamed to say that I'm in love with her.

It's currently 1 o'clock, and I just got back home from recording some other Unorthodox Jukebox songs with Anthony subsequently after my interview this morning. I promised I'd pick her up at around 2 and I could in turn show her my place and then around the city. I live around 20 minutes from her hotel. It's nice that at one point she showed me her city and home, and now I get to show her mine. Before I pick her up, I decide to head over to the bathroom and take a quick shower, then subsequently let my curly hair air dry due to the sunny weather. I then put on a blue top and some black pants, and check the time: 1:30. My body then journeys itself down the stairs as my hand grabs my keys hanging up, henceforth then walking over to my car to spend time with the woman I love.

...

I have arrived at the Waterfront Inn, the beautiful seaside-aestheticized sign showcasing itself across my view, as I then text Amber letting her know I'm here, reading to start off our day.

Me:

Hey! I'm here 🙂

Amber:

I'm coming 😙

I wait in my car for a bit before I see her walk out the front doors of the Waterfront Inn, wearing a beautiful tie dye tank top and some jean shorts, her long chestnut hair dazzled in her natural waves, her facial beauty highlighted by her excitement and pure joy.

"So nice to see you babe," I say to her as I peck her lips.

"You too," she smiles and wraps her hand around the back of my head, intensifying the kiss, symbolizing our happiness of being in each other's presences again, before I then start up the car.

"So you're gonna show me your house first, right?" She asks and she puts her seatbelt on.

"Yep! And then I'll take you over to the Griffith Observatory and the Hollywood Sign, which I believe are some of the best landmarks in LA...and then of course we'll go to the drive-in," I smile as we pass by the palm trees and beautiful buildings.

"Oooh! Sounds fun. You know, it's interesting how I got to show you a tour of Philly, and now you're gonna be doing the same with me in your city," she laughs.

"I was just thinking that earlier, yes," I laugh with her.

"How has everything been with you, Amber?" I ask, now realizing that we can converse in a more relaxed setting, just me and her.

"Perfect now that I'm with you here in one of the most beautiful states in America," she smirks.

"Believe me, I'm happy to have you here as well. That drive-in date was a good idea, by the way," I smile.

"Haha, thanks. I just saw it in the tourist pamphlet and I was like wow, this brings back memories. I just have to see this," she grins.

"Yeah, for real. I haven't been to one of those since like the early '90s, damn," I highlight.

"Same here! I don't know why they got rid of so many of them. But at least we'll get to experience one together soon," she elucidates.

"Yep! Nothing like another date that's gonna bring back more childhood memories," I quote as we both laugh.
