I had a great time meeting Amber's mom yesterday. She seems like a very nice person, even though she made some mistakes in the past. Eh, we all do anyway. I can see where Amber got her kind and warm characteristics from. It's good to know that she approves of me and that she appreciates how I'm making not only Amber happy, but myself happy by having a relationship with her daughter who is beautiful inside and out. And damn, does she make good food.

It's a nice sunny morning here in Philly, cold of course, but the sun's rays have succeeded in striking their ways upon wintertime. It looks beautiful seeing sunlight hit the snow; two contrasting seasonal aspects combining into one. The Northeast definitely has a unique kind of weather compared to other parts of the U.S.

Amber and I are currently having lunch at Panera, just grabbing a bite to eat before we head over to the arcade. We figured that since it's a nice day, we should definitely head out and enjoy my trip before I leave. To be honest, I'm not sure when we're gonna see each other again after this, since I'm being requested for more interviews and such. But I will of course make time to see her; I'm just not sure exactly when at this point. I can't believe I'll already be leaving tomorrow.

We continue to sip on our coffee and paninis, just currently chatting about anything and everything, mainly about our childhood and how our current date will reflect upon that, in addition to our favorite memories and such and how the future only has room to make more.

"So what kind of games does this arcade have?" I ask her as I sip on my passionfruit smoothie.

"Pinball, PacMan, crane machines, basketball, Donkey Kong, The Simpsons, those car and motorcycle ones, all that stuff," she grins.

"Awesome!! Man, Donkey Kong brings back a shit ton of memories," I reply as I finish off the last bites of my turkey panini.

"Haha, for me it's the Simpsons one," she grins.

"Ah yes, the Simpsons was a huge part of our childhood as '90s kids," I smile.

"I know right. I can't believe that series is still going," she replies.

"Yeah, for real. And how they're also able to somehow predict the future is interesting as well," I reply as we both laugh.

"It's a shame arcades aren't too popular anymore. But at least they're still around," Amber replies as she begins to eat the chips that came with her panini.

"Definitely. There's always an opportunity for fun," I reply.

"Absolutely! And of course, everywhere is fun with you! I can't believe you're already leaving tomorrow," she sadly smiles.

"You too, baby...but don't worry, we'll see each other again," I smile as I put my hand on hers.

"Thank you so much for visiting my mom, by the way," she says.

"Of course! She's very kind and compassionate; I can see where you get your personality from," I smile.

"Aw, thanks so much. I'm really happy you guys got along perfectly," she grins.

"No problem. Oh, and by the way, her food is amazing. Better than here," I chuckle as Amber does as well.

"Haha, thanks. Yeah, when I grew up she always made those delicious tamales. My absolute favorite," she replies.

"Yeah, I haven't eaten homemade food in awhile," I say.

"Neither have I! I don't cook much, I obviously do mostly baking," she laughs.

"I don't cook too much either, although I used to when I was younger. Now I've just gotten too busy with my career and such," I elucidate.

"Ah yeah, that makes sense. Since I typically come home from work at around 6, I typically just try to cook on the weekends and warm up whatever is leftover," she describes.
