Whew, what a beautiful trip this was. A new year, a new girl, and the commencement of my world tour. Damn. Today Amber and I will be going back to Philly, where we'll be staying at my place for sometime before I have to come back to NYC for my next concert.

I'm so happy Amber is finally my official girlfriend...I knew she would love her Empire State rooftop surprise. I also knew it'd also be the perfect place to ask her to be mine, especially since a rooftop is where we had our first kiss. Kinda like a deja vu in a way, but the second time being a deeper and more advanced connection to the first.

It's a bright and beautiful morning here in Times Square, and I'm lying in bed with Amber next to me. She decided to sleep in my room last night; all of her things are already packed, her suitcases standing by the window. Our arms are wrapped around each other as she peacefully sleeps beside me. We decided we would leave around lunchtime in order to beat the traffic; she'll be driving us back to Philly.

I slip out of her arms and our tangled limbs as I get out of bed to finish out the rest of my packing. Thankfully it's not too much since I packed a lot of it last night. Amber and I spent the last two days walking around Times Square some more; there was so much confetti residue on the ground. Eh, it adds to the festive mood. Besides, there's never too much to see in New York.

I begin packing the last suitcase filled with clothes as Anthony calls me. I head over to my phone charging on the nightstand as I pick up:

"Heyyy, Bruno! Happy New Year! Hope you had a great Times Square trip."

"Thank you, I did."

"All ready for your debut concert?"

"Yep! Got my instruments ready, outfit and all."

"Alright. Be at the venue by 3:00 o'clock. We gotta do a meet-n-greet and then I'll walk you through backstage."

"Sounds good, no problem!" I respond.

"Alright, man...you excited?"

"Of course! It's my first ever live event," I proclaim in awe.

"You should be very proud of yourself...these past few years I've known you I can see you've definitely grown as an artist. I can't wait to start up this world tour. You'll be huge man, I know it" he adds.

"I really appreciate that man," I reply, elucidating my gratitude for his compliment.

"I'll see you at Wells Fargo Center on the 6th. Take care now," he bids farewell.

"I'll talk to ya," I reply.

I go back to folding up my clothes as I turn my head and see Amber beginning to stretch, awakening to the dawn of the morning surroundings.

"Good morning, Bruno," she smiles at me.

"Good morning, Amber," I smile back at her, walking up to her to give her a kiss on the cheek. She then wishes me a good morning as well, and walks out of bed and heads over to the bathroom for her morning routine. She later then comes out with a warm blue sweater and some jeans on, sitting over on the bed.

"I can't believe this trip is almost over," she claims.

"Yeah, for real. But hey, it was the best trip of my life," I elucidate as I sit over on the bed next to her, my suitcases all done and ready to go.

"Mine too," she smirks as her lips press upon mine. I could kiss them all day if she'd let me.

"Not sure if I'm ready to say goodbye to the Big Apple yet, though," I laugh.
