I'm currently in Miami, getting ready for my concert on the 12th, having arrived from Jacksonville. And damn, is Miami a nice city. It's a very tropical atmosphere with so many beautiful beaches and skyscrapers, along with palm trees; it reminds me of California, which is where I'll be going after Miami. First San Antonio, then Santa Monica. I already went to check out Miami Beach, along with Bayfront Park and Crandon Park. Kinda gives a Caribbean vibe along with a California vibe. I'm really enjoying not only getting a concert tour, but a whole landmark tour of the U.S. Looks like I got two for the price of one; my dream and getting to see the world's wonders.

I'm currently sitting in my hotel room gazing at the beautiful ocean view outside whilst finishing up my last song on my second album, called "Locked Out of Heaven." I just thought it'd be fun to write another song with a risqué twist. Fans tend to like it when their favorite artist comes out with sultry songs, for some reason.

'Cause you make me feel like I've been locked out of heaven

For too long, for too long

Yeah, you make me feel like I've been locked out of heaven

For too long, for too long

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,

Ooh!

Oh, yeah, yeah,

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,

Ooh!

You bring me to my knees, you make me testify

You can make a sinner change his ways

Open up your gates 'cause I can't wait to see the light

And right there is where I wanna stay

I'm really liking this one; possibly even more than "Treasure." I just think it gives a very fun, upbeat vibe that fans will love. I write down the guitar chords for it, and the song eventually gets wrapped up, successfully concluding my second album, in which I've decided to name "Unorthodox Jukebox" after its electronic and innovative nature, with its combined elements of sound and music genre. Words can't explain how proud I am of myself for getting it done. I've officially completed my New Year's resolution. I never thought I'd get it done so soon with my busy schedule, but I did and I'm so happy that it's officially complete. I write up the lineup for it next:

"Unorthodox Jukebox"

"Young Girls"

"Locked Out of Heaven"

"Gorilla"

"Treasure"

"Moonshine"

"When I Was Your Man"

"Natalie"

"Show Me"

"Money Make Her Smile"

"If I Knew"

I then call up Anthony and tell him the album is complete, and he's very proud of me as well for getting it done. We of course already decided not to release it until after the tour due to the fact that there's still a lot going on, which is no problem to me, but we will be recording songs in the studio every now and then during my current tour when I have free time; so I figure, why not get it started sooner?

"So when do you wanna start recording?" I ask, still talking to Anthony on the phone.

"I mean...we could even begin now if you're free," he quotes.
