I had an incredible time with Bruno yesterday. He showed me LA's best landmarks and I got to see so many iconic things that encompass LA as a whole, in addition to the showcasing of California's beauty. What a gorgeous state it truly is. But the best thing about this vacation so far is not getting to see LA's most iconic spots, it is spending time with the man I love, the man who I slowly fell in love with over the course of seven months, my heart now united to his.
I'm in love with Bruno.
It's currently 4:00 o'clock, and he and I both discussed this morning that he'd be picking me up around 5:00 so we can head over to the Santa Monica Pier together, that way we can enjoy the amusement park there in addition to the beach. It's a nice sunny and hot day today, perfect for our final date before I end my California vacation. I have my red bikini on underneath some jean shorts and a sky blue tank top, with my hair pulled back in a bun, along with some other beach essentials in my bag: towel, sunscreen, etc.
As I'm getting ready to zip up everything in my bag for Bruno and I's final California date, my phone begins ringing. I head over to my dresser and see that it's Amari as I click on the green button, wanting to chit-chat with my best friend.
"Heyyy girl! How's Cali?" She asks enthusiastically as I pick up.
"Oh, it's incredible. It's such a beautiful state. The concert was awesome and Bruno was very surprised...he also showed me the Hollywood sign and the Griffith Observatory yesterday, and we went on a drive-in movie date," I reply.
"Damn, that sounds awesome! I'm really happy for you, you deserve it. How have you and Bruno been?" She asks.
"We're great! I love him, Amari," I wholeheartedly declare.
"Aww! I'm so happy you found someone you truly love. I could see the way you two looked at each other whenever you two were together. Congratulations, Amber," she happily proclaims.
"Thank you so much...how has everything been with you?" I ask her.
"Same old. I've actually been chilling with Dahlia and Crystal lately. We all miss you even though it's only been a few days," she chuckles.
"Haha, I miss you guys too. But hey, I'll be back tomorrow," I add.
"I'm glad. As much as vacations are fun to go on, it's always nice to come back home as well," she elucidates.
"Nah, I definitely agree. Philly has and will always be my home," I comment.
"Yessss! So what is Cali like?" She asks.
"Palm trees everywhere, skyscrapers, the weather is gorgeous, so many iconic landmarks to see, etc."
"That's awesome!"
"It's definitely one of the best places I've been to," I reply.
"I can imagine it's nice over there, yeah," she adds.
"Bruno and I will actually be going to the Santa Monica Pier tonight," I smile.
"Ah yes, I remember Chloe saying it's beautiful there. Have fun!"
"Thanks! How have the nightclubs been?" I tease her.
"They miss you just as much as they miss me," she laughs.
"Ah, yes. Our girls' night outs are always iconic," I smile.
"Mhm, it ain't the same without you," she responds.
"I'm sure," I laugh. "Speaking of which, I met Bruno's parents at his concert backstage," I elucidate.
"Ah nice! How are they?" She asks.
