The sun peeked through the curtains as Conrad prepared for another day at work. He knelt to Gigi's level and kissed her forehead.

Conrad: "Be good for Ga Ga Marshall and Grandpa Kyle today, alright, bubble?"

Gigi giggled and clapped her hands, already excited for the day ahead. After Conrad left, Marshall and Kyle took charge, planning a day full of fun activities.

Marshall: "How about we start with a trip to the zoo? Gigi loves animals."

Kyle: "Great idea! Let's pack some snacks and head out."

At the zoo, Gigi's eyes widened with wonder as she saw the animals. She pointed at the elephants and babbled excitedly.

Gigi: "E-fant!"

Marshall: "That's right, Gigi! Elephants!"

They spent hours exploring, with Gigi's tiny hands reaching out to touch everything she could. After the zoo, they took her to a nearby park where she could run around and enjoy the playground.

Gigi: "Ga Ga, more!"

Marshall: "Alright, one more slide before we go home."

As Gigi napped peacefully at home, the scene shifts to Conrad at work. Despite the busy day, his thoughts kept drifting back to his little girl. He glanced at the clock, wondering how she was doing with Marshall and Kyle.

Hundley: "Hey, Conrad, you seem a bit distracted today. Everything alright?"

Conrad: "Yeah, just thinking about Gigi. It's her first full day with her grandpas. I know they're great with her, but I can't help but worry."

Hundley: "I get it. It's tough being away from your kid. But from what you've told me, Marshall and Kyle are amazing with her. She's in good hands."

Conrad nodded, trying to focus back on his work. He knew Hundley was right, but the protective dad in him couldn't help but feel a bit anxious. He decided to send a quick text to check in.

Conrad's Text: "Hey, how's everything going with Gigi?"

A few minutes later, his phone buzzed with a reply from Marshall.

Marshall's Text: "She's doing great! We went to the zoo, and she loved it. Now she's napping after a fun day. Don't worry, Conrad, she's having a blast."

Conrad smiled, feeling a wave of relief wash over him. He took a deep breath and returned to his tasks, comforted by the thought that Gigi was happy and well-cared for.

As Gigi woke up from her nap, she realized her dada wasn't there and started to cry, calling out, "Dada! Dada!" Marshall saw this on the baby monitor and rushed up to her nursery. He picked her up, trying to comfort her.

Marshall: "Hey, sweetie, it's okay. Dada will be home soon. How about we go find Grandpa Kyle and play a little?"

But Gigi wasn't calming down. All she wanted was her dad. Marshall, feeling a bit desperate, yelled out, "Kyle, can you bring up Mr. Giraffe?"

Kyle quickly came up with Gigi's favorite stuffed animal, Mr. Giraffe, but it didn't do the trick either. Gigi continued to cry, reaching out for her dada.

Kyle: "Here, Marshall, let me try something."

Kyle pulled out his phone and showed Gigi a photo of her mama. Gigi's cries softened a bit as she looked at the familiar face.

Kyle: "See, Gigi, Mama's here too. Dada will be home soon."

Though it didn't stop her tears, seeing the photo of her mama helped calm Gigi down a little, and Marshall and kyle continued to comfort her.

An hour later, Kyle and Marshall were still trying to calm Gigi down. They had tried everything—her favorite toys, songs, and even some snacks—but nothing seemed to work. Just then, they heard the front door open.

Conrad: "Dad? Kyle?"

Upstairs, Marshall and Kyle perked up. Marshall softly said to the still-crying Gigi, "Gigi, Dada's home."

They quickly went downstairs, where they saw Conrad standing in the doorway. Conrad immediately took Gigi from Marshall's arms.

Conrad: "G, what's the matter, baby?"

As soon as Gigi was in her dad's arms, she started to fully relax and calm down. The tears stopped, and she snuggled into Conrad's chest, feeling safe and secure.

Conrad: "See, she just needed her Dada."

As Gigi calmed down in Conrad's arms, the tension in the room eased. Marshall and Kyle exchanged relieved glances, grateful that Conrad was home.

Marshall: "Thanks, Conrad. We tried everything, but nothing seemed to work."

Kyle: "Yeah, she just wouldn't settle down."

Conrad smiled, gently rocking Gigi. "It's okay. She's been missing me a lot lately. I think it's just a phase."

As the evening drew to a close, Conrad tried to put Gigi down for bed. She clung onto his shirt, crying, "Dada, Dada." He picked her up gently, whispering, "Okay, G, it's okay. Dada's here." He rocked her back and forth, the gentle motion and his soothing voice gradually calming her down.

Marshall watched from the doorway, a soft smile on his face. The sight of Conrad comforting Gigi was a testament to the love and dedication his son had for his granddaughter.

Kyle peeked in, his faces filled with warmth and admiration. "She's got him wrapped around her little finger," Kyle whispered, and Marshall nodded in agreement.

As Gigi finally drifted off to sleep in Conrad's arms, he carefully laid her down in her crib, making sure she was snug and comfortable. He stood there for a moment, watching her peaceful face, feeling a profound sense of love and responsibility.

He turned to marshall and kyle, who both joined him at the crib. "I'm doing okay, right?" he asked softly.

Marshall nodded, his eyes on his granddaughter, peacefully sleeping in her. "Yeah, Conrad. You're doing just fine."

With that, they left the room, the house settling into a calm and peaceful night, ready to face whatever challenges tomorrow might bring, united in their love for Gigi.
