Mina's Back!

Conrad was in the middle of a hectic shift when he heard a familiar voice behind him.

"Conrad Hawkins, is that you?"

He turned around, and his eyes widened in shock. "Mina? What are you doing here?"

Mina smiled, a bit nervously. "I came back. I couldn't stay away any longer. I missed everyone. How have you been? How's Nic?"

Conrad's expression changed, and he took a deep breath. "Mina, there's something you need to know. Nic... Nic passed away."

Mina's eyes filled with tears. "Oh, Conrad, I'm so sorry. I had no idea. What happened?"

"It was an accident," Conrad said quietly. "It's been really hard. But there's something else. I have a daughter now, Gigi."

Mina looked shocked but quickly composed herself. "A daughter? I can't believe I missed so much. How is she?"

"She's amazing," Conrad said, a small smile forming. "She keeps me going every day."

Just then, Devon, Leela, Padma, and AJ walked into the room. Devon's eyes lit up when he saw Mina. "Mina! Is it really you?"

Padma and Leela looked confused, glancing between Conrad and Mina. "Who's this?" Padma asked.

Leela added, "Yeah, I feel like I should know you."

Mina smiled warmly. "I'm Mina. I used to work here before I had to leave."

AJ stood frozen in shock, unable to find his words. Finally, he managed to say, "Mina, I can't believe you're back."

Mina reached out to hug Devon, who embraced her tightly. "It's so good to see you," he said. "We've missed you."

Mina then turned to AJ, who still seemed shell-shocked. "AJ, it's good to see you too," she said softly.

AJ finally broke into a smile. "Welcome back, Mina. We've got a lot to catch up on."

Conrad nodded, feeling a mix of emotions. "Thanks, Mina. It means a lot to have you back."

Mina took a deep breath, trying to process everything. "I can't believe how much has changed. I need to catch up with all of you."

Conrad nodded. "Let's go to the break room. We can talk more there."

As they walked, Devon couldn't help but ask, "So, Mina, what brought you back?"

Mina sighed. "I realized that this place is my home. I missed the work, the people... I missed all of you. I needed to come back."

Padma and Leela exchanged glances, still a bit confused but starting to understand. "Well, we're glad you're here," Padma said with a smile.

Once they were settled in the break room, Conrad looked at Mina with a serious expression. "Mina, Gigi is still so little. She's been having a hard time without Nic. I could really use your support, especially during the nights when she gets fussy."

Mina's eyes softened as she looked at Conrad. "Of course, Conrad. I'll do whatever I can to help. I can stay with her tonight if you need some rest."

Devon nodded. "And we're all here for you too, Conrad. You're not alone in this."

The group shared a moment of silent understanding, the bond between them stronger than ever.

As they sat in the break room, the conversation shifted to more practical matters.
