The resident Conrad and Gigi post 5x03

Surrounded by love .

Conrad is sitting by Gigi's crib in the hospital room, gently rocking her. Gigi is fussing and whimpering.

Gigi: (whimpering softly)

Conrad: (softly) "Shhh, it's okay, Gigi. Daddy's here."

Gigi: (reaching out with tiny hands)

Conrad: (taking her hand) "I know, sweet girl. I know it's hard. But you're so strong. We're going to get through this together."

Gigi: (calming slightly, looking up at Conrad with big eyes)

Conrad: (smiling gently) "You remember how we always sing your favorite lullaby? Let's sing it together, okay?"

Conrad: (singing softly) "Twinkle, twinkle, little star, how I wonder what you are..."

Gigi: (slowly starts to relax, eyes getting heavy)

Conrad: (continuing to rock her) "Up above the world so high, like a diamond in the sky..."

Gigi: (finally closes her eyes, breathing evenly)

Conrad: (whispering) "Sweet dreams, my brave little star. Daddy loves you so much."

After Gigi falls asleep, Conrad stays by her side, watching her breathe peacefully. He feels a mix of relief and exhaustion, knowing that every moment with her is precious.

Conrad steps out of the hospital room to get some air. In the hallway, he runs into Jessica.

Jessica: "Hey, how's Gigi doing?"

Conrad: (sighing) "She's finally asleep. It's been a rough night, but she's a fighter."

Jessica: "You look exhausted, Conrad. You need to take care of yourself too."

Conrad: "I know, but I can't leave her. She's so small and fragile. I just want to be there for her every second."

Jessica: (placing a hand on his shoulder) "You're doing an amazing job. But remember, she needs you to be strong and healthy too. Take a break, even if it's just for a few minutes."

Conrad: (nodding) "You're right. I'll grab som air and come right back."

Jessica: "I'll stay with her while you do that. Don't worry, she'll be in good hands."

Conrad: "Thanks, Jessica. I appreciate it."

Conrad steps out of the hospital room, closing the door gently behind him. As soon as he's in the hallway, the weight of everything hits him. He leans against the wall, his legs giving out as he slides down to the floor, tears streaming down his face.

Conrad: (sobbing quietly) "I don't know if I can do this... I just want her to be okay."

Devon, Irving, and AJ: (rushing over) "Conrad!"

Devon: (kneeling down beside him) "Hey, man, what's going on?"

Conrad: (trying to compose himself) "Nic would be way better at this than I am. Look at me, I'm crying on the floor outside of my baby girl's hospital room."

Irving: (putting a hand on Conrad's shoulder) "It's okay, Conrad. We're here for you."

AJ: (sitting down next to him) "You're not alone in this. We're all in this together."

Conrad: (walking over a few inches and staring into space) "I feel so helpless. She's so small, and I can't take away her pain."

Devon: "You're doing everything you can, and that's what matters. Gigi knows you're there for her."

Irving: "And we're here for you. Lean on us when you need to."

AJ: "Take a moment, catch your breath. We'll stay with Gigi."
