After two months.

Priyanka's pov

I was sitting in front of the mirror looking at the sindoor and mangalsutra I was wearing.

I knew that I had not done anything wrong but still, I can see disappointment and guilt in my eyes.

I smile, trying to convince myself that I am happy with Arjun but i was not and that fact was irritating me a lot.

I have been doing wrong with Arjun , he gave me his time, family , respect and love but what am I doing with him?
He didn't ask me for anything despite being my husband. He has all right on me but my heart has not still accepted him more than my friend.

I couldn't be a good wife and better daughter in law, all because of my one relationship with Ankit. l wanted to erase his name from my mind and heart but look at the destiny , his baby is growing inside me. l always remind myself that's it's my baby , only mine, but I can't decline the fact that Ankit is father of my baby.

literally love makes us vulnerable and weak. I was a strong and independent woman and now look at me. what's going wrong with me , why can't I start a new life with Arjun? Why does my heart still crave for him.?

I was completely lost in my thoughts when Arjun came into the room.

Priyanka...Priyanka... he called my name but his voice was not reaching my ears due to thunder in my heart. Then I got into my senses when he shook me a little.

Priyanka...are you okay ? I have been calling you for a long time. Then He keeps his hand on my face to check whether I got a fever.

"H..haan ! Arjun , actually I was feeling a little dizzy." I replied removing his hand from my face.

Arjun holds her by the shoulders and makes her sit on the bed. Priyanka... why shouldn't you have told me about your health ? I am calling a doctor you just sit here like an obedient child.

But, Arjun we were going for your success party, right ?

No , we're not going anywhere. Nothing is more important for me than you.

Priyanka looks at him with guilt in her eyes. N...no Arjun , please don't cancel your plan. You know I am pregnant and it's very common in pregnancy. I want to be with my husband on his special day.

But Priyanka...

No, I don't want to listen to anything , give me just five minutes.

Arjun nodes and goes out of the room.

"Arjun is my husband and I have to fulfill my responsibilities as a wife with my heart." She said to herself , with full determination.

Mom, I wish you could come with us. But don't worry arjun and I will come as soon as possible. We will miss you mom.

Beta, you go and enjoy but always remember , never neglect what your heart says to you.

"Mom, I have only Arjun in my heart." Priyanka lied.

Beta, but I didn't take anybody's name. Does it mean you have somebody else in your heart?

Priyanka looks at her with numb eyes.

"Please bring my favourite chocolate ice cream for me." Radhya asks, diverting her mind.

But mom, the doctor had told you not to eat more ice cream .

"C'mon beta, I get bored with these tasteless foods. Please..."

Thik hai mom but I am helping you only this time, okay.

Radhya kisses her forehead. I am always with you Priyanka.

I know mom, I love you and priyanka kisses her hands.

"Aashna ( house help) , I am going now , you know what you need to do, right ? "

Yes ma'am, don't worry. You can go without any tension, I will manage everything.

At hospital

"I'm sorry beta , please forgive me." radhya ( Arjun's mother) apologised to Ankit.

Aunty, what are you doing ? Why are you apologising, haan? If I'm alive today it's just because of you. In fact I should be thankful to you aunty ji. That day you saved my life from his goons.

Radhya keeps her hand on ankit's forehead. "Beta, I am sorry , I couldn't stop Priyanka's marriage with Arjun. Arjun is my own blood but I won't forgive him ever for what he has done with you and priyanka." She said with teary eyes.

Ankit wipes her tears. "Maa" please don't say sorry.

M..ma...do you call me "ma?"

Haan maa, only a mother could do so much for his child. Arjun got married to priyanka with his constant lies and deception. But don't worry I love her even more day by day.

"Ma, how is Priyanka aur Mera bacha kaisa hai ?"

Radhya: She is in the same condition in which you had left her. Although She doesn't say anything, her eyes still search for you. But don't worry about the baby being perfectly fine as Priyanka takes care of your baby more than herself.

Ankit gets tears in his eyes.

The doctor comes and gives medicine to Ankit.

Doctor how much time will it take to recover my injuries ?

Mr. Ankit your injuries are serious , you have to wait for almost a month.

N...no , ma, I can't wait for a month. I want to meet my Priyanka and my baby.

Ankit Mera bacha, I can understand your restlessness but you can't fight for her in this condition. You have to be strong mentally and physically to fight with that devil.

Priyanka and Arjun arrived at the venue. She holds Arjun's hand and enters the palace.

Arjun gets shocked as it was the first time she was holding his hand as his wife. He introduces Pari to his new business partners and she meets them with her courteous smile.

"Priyanka you sit here , I will bring juice for my beautiful wife."

Priyanka nodes and takes a chair. She was sitting silently when someone closed her eyes from behind.

Who...who's this ?

That person removes his hands and comes in front of her.

Priyanka looked at him and was surprised.

"Aryaan ( Priyanka's college friend) what a pleasant surprise. It's been a long time since I saw you , how are you stupid ? "

He holds her by shoulder. I am absolutely fine , tell me about you. You got married and didn't tell me , huuhh?

A...aryaan , I am so sorry. Everything happens so fast that I couldn't inform you of anything.

Suddenly his gaze falls on her little baby bump. Happiness and surprise can be seen in his eyes.

"He looks at Priyanka , is it ?" He asked with full joy.

Priyanka nodes in yes.

Aryan hugs her tightly. Oh my god ! I'm so so happy for you Priyanka.

Arjun comes back , bringing juice for Priyanka. When he sees Priyanka in Aryan embrace , his blood starts boiling. He holds Aryan's hand and pulls him out of Priyanka's embrace and slaps him hard.

How dare you touch her ? Arjun shouted , grabbing his collar.

Priyanka got shocked...A..Arjun what are you doing ? Leave him.

"You shut up, just shut up ." He shouted at Priyanka.

Priyanka gets scared seeing his side.
