Camille's POV
I'd been sitting with my adoptive mom, Sky and her family for the past few hours after the guards left, catching them up on everything so far—when I left Sky's house, met my bio mom and found out Kaden was actually my dad. I was explaining everything I'd learned about myself so far and what I knew what would happen next when Sebastian appeared with a woman who looked identical to him, literally causing everyone to jump and my adoptive mom to scream.
"I do apologize for the interruption, Princess. This is my twin sister, Suzanna."
"Pleased to make your acquaintance, Princess."
She bowed.
"Sorry for the scare everyone. Princess, I've been ordered to take your guests shopping," Sebastian said.
"I wanted to spend more time with you," Sky said pouting.
"Don't worry, you'll all be in good hands with Sebastian." I said as guards entered the room.
"You will be reunited with the Princess later tonight. Princess, these are your guests' guards. Your guards, Princess, will be reassigned later. Your guests will have guards for their protection until they leave the Kingdom." Sebastian explained.
"Princess, if you'll come with me we have a slightly different agenda," Suzanna started as more guards showed up, "These are your guards until later tonight." She said walking out the door.
"See you guys later," I said heading out as mom walked up to me to hug and kiss me.
"See you later baby." She said.
"Princess Camille's guest, I do apologize for the means of travel we must take but the Queen insisted we get this done quickly so teleportation is the fastest method of traveling. Please grab one another's hands. Guards meet us at Royal Threads." Sebastian explained before they all disappeared.
One of the guards must have been a mage as I heard something that sounded like what I imagined an incantation sounded like before also disappearing.
As Suzanna and I headed out she said, "It is my understanding that you are new to everything supernatural so if you didn't know me and my brother are Fae. And I believe I heard you're one-fourth Fae as well. Do you know if you have wings yet?"
"I don't think I have any, wouldn't they just come out when I unlocked my supernatural side?" I questioned.
"Those that are full Fae, are ninety-nine percent of the time born with their wings out like your Grandmother. But for those that are only part Fae like yourself and your mother you may or may not have them but you have to sort of call for them." She explained.
"Call for them?" I asked, confused.
"Basically you summon them with thought, so think about wanting to fly." She further explained.
I was giddy about the possibility to fly, as I hoped I had wings.
At first nothing happened, and disappointment began to settle in before Suzanna chuckled, and pointed behind me. Then she disappeared and reappeared with a floor-length mirror.
"I could feel your disappointment Princess but your wings have already slowly unfolded from your back. They're gorgeous, a beautiful yet rare multicolored pattern. And you even have two sets of wings like all the Royal Fae bloodline, both the double set of wings and color pattern are very surprising since you are only a quarter Fae but that twenty-five percent must be very powerful like your Mother and Grandmother" She said.
As I looked at the mirror I stood mesmerized at my cool wings.
"Wow!" was all I could say.
"Care to test them out, Princess?" Suzanna asked as a set of identical wings to Sebastian appeared.
