Lillian's POV

"I'm here," my mother said, materializing into the room. "What's the iss-?" She started to ask before she laid eyes on Camille. "...She's beautiful—who is she? She kind of resembles you two? Who is this?"

"She's our daughter, Mom," I said, dropping the bomb early.

"W-w-wh-what? When? She looks practically like an adult."

"Look, Isabella, we don't have time for this. I want to make sure she's alright. I messed up and it almost cost us both our lives. I'm so sorry Lily. I wasn't paying close enough attention," Kaden said, getting angry. I reach out to calm him using my emotion-influencing powers.

"It's alright, honey, you both made it back in one piece—that's all that matters, now tell me what happened so we can try to help."

"Well, I had been captured; I thought Camille was safe. But then, as I was getting tortured, I smelled her in the room. She caused me to go into Warrior Mode when she screamed. I had lost about 90% of my vision from these taser-like brain shocks this damn fairy was giving me. And I was weak because I had been blood—letted after a fucking vampire managed to sneak attack me with my back turned as I was hiding a body, and they ripped out my heart and severed my spinal cord, temporarily paralyzing me and sending me into a death sleep. With no blood and being weak, paralyzed, and in magical cuffs while getting my brain fried, I was not having the best luck." Kaden explained.

"Where was the necklace I gave you, babe?"

"I had to give it to Camille, her powers are too powerful and uncontrolled. She almost released an EF5-level tornado simply from her emotions. I needed some way to mute her powers until we reached back home."

"When I realized she wasn't safely where I left her... when I heard her scream"—his voice broke as his eyes watered. "—when I heard my little girl scream, I lost it. I had to use my life blood to heal enough to see Camille's body on the floor," he said, with tears going down his face as I begin to cry along with my mother.

"That fucking fairy dared to touch our little girl, and I ripped his fucking arm off...hence the blood on us. And as I tried to drain him dry Lily, Camille rose up. She levitated vertically while unconscious, her eyes were still shut. But when she finally opened them she'd levitated upright, her eyes were glazed over like she was in a trance. But the weirdest thing is her eyes were lavender and they were glowing with golden flecks in them."

I glance at mom while she glanced at me, and we shared a knowing glance. Kaden looked at us; he didn't miss the look between us.

"What?" He asked

"Nothing for right now, just speculation. If it turns out to be something, I'll let you know, dear."

He nodded, trusting me to tell him what I was thinking if it did become important information.

"Anyway, for some reason it became hard to breathe, I had to cut off my lung function because the lack of air was suffocating me. And then I witnessed the most amazing thing happen—she had all these different elements circling around each of her wrists. I identified most of them; Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Lightning, and what looked like a purple flame and a white orb-like substance.

Mom and I gasped.

"This might be something after all, Lillian," my mother said wearily.

"I believe so, Mother but we can't be sure, so I don't want to speculate too much yet."

Kaden raised an eyebrow.

"I'll let you know when I'm sure." I sent to Kaden through our mind link.

He nod slightly.

He trusted me, as he know I didn't like speculate, I'll tell him when I knew for certain what Mother and I suspected.

"Well, let's tend to your grandchild, Mother, so I can tend to my mate," I said.

"Yes, how do we wake her up?" Kaden asked anxiously.

I walked up to Camille on one side of the bed and mom on the other. I grabbed Camille's hand as Mom grabbed her other hand, and we linked our hands, focusing on Camille. Her body began to take on a light golden hue, signaling her health was perfectly fine.

"Looks like she's just exhausted, Kaden, from using so much power at once." I said as Kaden relaxed, swaying slightly.

He used his life blood—I need to heal him.

"When my beautiful grandchild wakes up, call me once you've had some time with her so she can meet her dear old grandmother." Mom said, vanishing.

"I'll leave a note so she won't be scared when she wakes up in a strange place." I said as I waved my hand and a letter appeared addressed to Camille. "She's in good hands, babe. Let's get you back to the room so you can rest."

"Bash," Kaden called out.

"Sire, I figured you could use some nourishment," he said, appearing with six blood bags on a silver tray,

Kaden grabbed a bag in each hand and let his teeth slide out as his fangs descended, and he punctured one bag, draining it in seconds before repeating the action with the second one. Grabbing two more blood bags and draining those dry, he set the drained bags on the tray as well. He set the other two in the mini fridge beside the bed.

Bash bowed and then disappeared.

"Lily, let her know that there's blood in the fridge for her in the note."

"Done. Now come here, babe."

He walked over, I began my chant softly to see what his health was like. His skin began to take on a reddish hue.

I look at him angrily—simply angry he got hurt. Not at the situation he was in, he came back safe with our daughter and that's all that mattered at the end of the day.

He looks at my expression and then hung his head. He looked up at me, ashamed. I chose not to say anything because he just went through hell and back for our daughter.

I lift his head up, and I kiss him tenderly.

I turn my head, offering my neck.

His eyes change to a forest green as his vampire fangs descend once again and pierce my skin, hurting briefly before a wave of pleasure hits me.

I look at Kaden as his eyes meet mine.

I see his eyes glaze over like when he's talking to his pack, and then he adjusted his grip and picks me up while still feeding from me. He then retracts his fangs and uses his tongue to close the puncture wounds with the healing agent in his saliva. He kisses me passionately and dominates my mouth. He begins feathering kisses down my neck softly as I use my magic to replace my energy as he teleports us to our bedroom.
