Lillian POV
The next morning I woke up as the sun rose.
I reached back and the bed was empty.
I was a little disappointed.
I stretched and got up.
Today was the first day of training.
Actual training. No need to hold back like I did in the human realm.
I got up and grabbed a sports bra, crop top and athletic shorts and mesh jogging shoes.
I went into the bathroom, used the bathroom, washed my hands, brushed my teeth and then pulled my sandy reddish-brown hair into a messy but tight bun.
Now I was ready to train.
"You feel excited," Jesse's voice came through bond.
"Determined. Ready. Excited, I don't think so," I responded.
"Definitely excited," he said laughing through the bond.
I could feel his happiness through it.
The bond was steadily growing.
"There are guards outside the door. I'm on my way back now. I showered and changed as well. I'll take you to your parents for training."
"What will you do during that time?"
"I'm going to visit the coven and receive weapons combat training while you're training. I may have been a soldier for almost a decade and now a General, but anyone who knows anything knows you can always learn more. Keeps my skills honed."
"Nice. Well I'm dressed and ready."
"Well since you're dressed and ready, let's go," Jesse said as he materialized into the room.
I smiled and he reached and clasped my hand.
We teleported to a room with a long table. A desk and chair sat in the far corner, with another chair beside the desk. Mom and Dad occupied the chairs. And when I say occupied I mean my Dad was sitting in the chair behind the desk and Mom was sitting in his lap and they were locked in what seemed to be a passionate kiss.
They broke apart when we got there.
They smiled at being preoccupied upon our arrival.
"Should we come back? Seems like we came at a bad time." I said, teasing.
They both laughed at me teasing them.
They got up as we walked closer.
A cube appeared hovering over a pedestal. The cube's surface resembled a violent thunderstorm. Static and lightning clashed across it, bleeding off the edges in violent arcs.
"This is where we'll be training," Mom said.
I looked at her, confused.
"I created this pocket dimension. Several of them with your grandmother. It serves as a space where you can train to the best of your abilities with no consequences. I'll explain more once inside. For now just walk up to the cube and say 'Enter'."
I didn't even notice I was still holding hands with Jesse until he released my hand and said, "Let me know when you're finished."
I nodded.
I walked the few feet over to the cube, "Enter."
I appeared inside of what looked like a large meadow clearing with forests surrounding it on all sides.
