Chapter 29

Lillian's POV

As we get to my room I open the door, and hold it open for Jesse to enter.

I stand there for a moment thinking about the fact that I didn't have any clothes here.

I wasn't conscious when I got here so I didn't have a bag or any of my belongings. I'm going to have to bring it up to my Dad about going back to my earthly home to retrieve some of my things.

"Everything alright?" Jesse asked. I jumped so hard and an orb of water burst from the hand I threw up in defense soaking Jesse.

"What the hell was that for?" he said upset.

"I'm sorry, you scared the crap out of me, I forgot you were even here for a moment, I was lost in thought thinking about my home."

"What do you mean? You're in your home."

"I meant my earthly home or mortal home, whatever you want to call it. I didn't get to pack a bag or anything. I was unconscious when I entered the kingdom. I want to get out this dress so I don't mess it up and take a shower but I just realized I don't have and clothes or belongings here. When I get in thought sometimes I forget about my surroundings" I rushed out hoping he understood I didn't do it in purpose. Otherwise our bond might start off a little rocky.

"I don't even know where that came from. I just shot water from my freaking hands." I said in awe.

That was totally freaking cool. There's no liquid around me, but somehow I just did that.

I'm sure this has nothing to do with my Dad's biology and everything to do with my Mom's and Grandmother's.

I did a little squeal at the thought of bringing this up when I see them tomorrow morning.

I wonder what else I am able to do. Thinking about training Monday excited me even more.

He took a breath and calmed down and asked, "Did you check the closet?"

"No, I didn't imagine anything was there." I said as I opened the closet door.

I opened the door to a massive walk in closet filled with clothes and shoes. There were also towels, wash cloths, back scrubbers and exfoliating gloves.

I stepped in the massive closet and grabbed a towel and handed it to Jesse.

I grabbed out some shorts, a t-shirt, a sports bra and some underwear. After also grabbing a towel and the other necessities for a nice long shower I exited the closet and headed to the bathroom.

"While you take a shower I'm going to head to my room and shower. I need to get changed myself. There are guards outside your door and a female guard here to protect you in my absence, I'll be quick." he said as he opened the door heading into the hallway.

I nodded as I entered the bathroom. I set my things down and turned on all the nozzles. As I stepped into the shower the jets soothed my skin in some amazing nozzle jet therapy. As I stood there enjoying the pressure from the nozzles I reflected on the day and everything that's happened. So much has happened in so little time.

It's almost like time flowed faster here. I reflected the most on this mate situation I have going.

Jesse is hot there's no argument here about that. But I know nothing about this man I am forever paired to.

I know my Grandmother said to get to know each other but it's not that easy. I'm not sure how long I was in the shower reflecting when I heard a light tap on the door.

"Are you ok in there Lillian?" Jesse said from other side of the door.

"Everything's fine, I'll be out soon." I called out in return.
