Camille's POV-

I woke in a very soft bed and sat up, looking around in what was a very fancy room, and I felt totally out of place. I got out of the bed, but out of the corner of my eye, a piece of paper on the end table caught my attention.

After I read the note I greedily gulped down both bags of blood. I honestly was shocked that I drained those bags so quickly. A couple days after finding out I'm a supernatural mutt and already I'm throwing caution to the wind and gulping down blood bags.

Ugh

After getting over my shock of how much change that has happened to me and around me, I noticed clothes on top of the dresser. I opened a door assuming it lead to a bathroom. It did, and it was gorgeous! There was a rainfall shower head with six additional water jets and a Jacuzzi tub. I didn't know which one to enjoy, so I took a very long shower washing my long hair then drew a bath and soaked.

God it felt amazing.

When I came out of the restroom wrapped in a towel with my hair wrapped in another towel I laid on the bed to rest a minute, and take in the strange, peaceful, and comforting sensation I felt.

After I cooled down  I got dressed and decided to explore my surroundings. I left my room and started looking around noting certain places like the top–notch gourmet kitchen, and the pool among other things when I was suddenly stopped by what I assumed was a butler.

"Lady Camille, let me take you to your Mother and Father," he said turning with his back to me as he started walking away.

"Ok," I said nervously, as I followed him.

I was so excited and I had so many questions too. But, as quickly as excitement came over me, fear and nervousness quickly washed over me. I was finally getting to meet my parents. The slow pace he set caused my anxiety to increase every step we took.

"I don't mean to be rude sir but, I've wanted to meet my real parents since I've found out about them. My anxiety is working double time and I want to keep my nerve. Is there a faster way you could get me to them?"

"Why my apologies Lady Camille, I know you're new to us supernaturals. I was advised to go slow when introducing you to everyday supernatural gifts. But yes there are faster ways of travel, would you rather teleport or fly?"

"What's faster sir?"

"No need to be so formal princess, the name's Sebastian or as your Father loves to call me—because he knows how much I loathe the nicknames—you can also call me Bastian or Bash. Pleased to finally meet your acquaintance. And as to the answer to your question Teleportation is faster but I recommend flying as it truly is a wonderful experience."

"Ok, I'll trust your judgement and go with flying."

"As you wish, m'lady,"

Sebastian took a step back as he sprouted gorgeous pure white wings with orange on the tips of his wings, and offered out his hand. I took his outstretched hand and he scooped me up as I weighed nothing and flew through the building and what seemed like impossible speeds bringing us to a very big, elaborate door. Sebastian set me down on the ground before knocking on the door.

"You may enter," a woman's voice said.

I swallowed, as I stood there. My heartbeat speeding up, feeling so many emotions at once. Excitement, fear, anxiety, sadness, even anger.

As Sebastian opened up the door time seemed to stop. My heart was in my shoe, I couldn't breathe. As I tried to calm down a figure came into focus. A woman, she was absolutely gorgeous. I saw two large thrones. She was sitting in one of them. My mom was the freaking Queen!

"Camille? Is that you?" she said, smiling, beginning to cry.

"Hi," I said voice quivering.

She moved so fast I barely saw her move as she wrapped me in a bear hug sobbing.

"My baby is finally home!"

"Mom," I said as my voice cracked.

"Yes, baby, it's me, I know you have so many questions. I know you probably think I abandoned you but, I had to protect you from-"

"Not now love. We can explain all that later." Kaden said, coming into my field of vision.

"Wait, so I was right?" I said as I wiped my eyes, staring at both of them. The way he looked at my mom the look they shared between them as he comforted her.

"You are my Dad?"

"Kaden, honey, why didn't you tell her?" my Mom asked.

"I wanted to wait until we could all sit down and discuss everything. That's why I said I'd give you two some time alone but then both your emotions were so intense waiting for her to wake up, I thought better of that" he explained.

My mother wiped her eyes and said "Let's have something to eat whilst we talk and catch-up, shall we? Bastian?"

"Your Highness," he said coming out of thin air next to us causing me to jump on the defensive out of instinct teeth elongating.

"Its alright sweetie Sebastian is Fae, like part of me is, so he has wings or can teleport to travel. Eventually you'll recognize his energy before he appears." my mom explained.

"I apologize for scaring you m'lady," Sebastian said as he bowed respectfully

"No need to bow, Sebastian, I'm new to this but I'm a fast learner I'll get over the jumpiness eventually." I said smiling,

"Anyway Sebastian can you tell the kitchen to prepare a welcoming feast for our lost princesses' return for tonight? And then let the Kingdom know that we will throw a Royal Banquet tonight with a formal address to the Kingdom after,"she started "Also, Camille since I have so much to learn about you do you know which side is dominant right now so we can have the right food prepared for you?"

"Uhh," I said looking at the guy I now knew as my Dad.

"Right now love from what I've seen all 4 sides are active so, Bastian have them prepare a little bit of everything that would please a vampire, a werewolf, and also Mage/Fae dishes as well?"

"It shall be done and I'll put a rush on the preparations tonight as well my Queen"

"Thanks Bash"

"One more thing Bastian, While we wait I'm sure we could all appreciate sitting down and enjoying something refreshing to drink."

"Yes, My Queen." Bash said disappearing into thin air.

He returned moments later with three drinks on a tray in one hand. He snapped his fingers and what I assumed were castle servants appeared and bustled about with a gorgeous, yet small, table with three elegant chairs.

As we were seated, Bash set down a cup in front of each of us. My dad's and my cup smelled like blood with a fancy embroidered napkins and disappeared again. I smelled tea in my Mothers.

"I know you have some questions you need answered and some feelings you want to express. I'll do my best to answer any thing you wish to know. And then afterward, I would like to get to know you. Your likes, your dislikes, just everything you're willing to share."

We sat there for a few hours and I got to release pent up anger as well as get answers I desperately needed. I felt the weight on my shoulders for all the pent up feelings I had melt away as I was able to understand their reasoning for send me somewhere safe from my lunatic uncle.

After being able to decompress I thought to myself;

'This place feels right. It doesn't feel strange like when I first got out of bed, it felt like home. actually.'
