"Aw shit, I can't believe this!! Alissa was right!!"
"What? What did Alissa say?" Kat asked, while showing her house to her bandmates.
"I said you'd end up single, living with a bunch of cats"
"I just have one cat, I don't have 'a bunch'!"
"Yet..." Kat smacked Zeke's arm. "OUCH! THAT SHIT HURT!"
"That's what you get for being stupid to me, when I've done nothing but being an angel to you."
It had been 4 months since she moved in, and the guys were finally over, to spend a few days. To say that she missed them was an understatement. She was enjoying her life here, but sometimes her mind wondered what they were doing, would she be having more fun if she was still in LA. She missed the adventures they would be up to, the parties, the road-trips, dinners and sleepovers. So, when they all had some free time, they booked a flight to Spain immediately.
"Don't you feel lonely here?"
"Sometimes, yeah. But that's why I got Dave Meowstaine, he keeps me company when I got no one else to talk to."
"Really? Did you really name your cat after Dave Mustaine?" Eddie snorted a laugh. "Is it because he's a ginger cat?"
"Yes..." she side-eyed him. "But, back to what I was saying, Dave keeps me company. And then sometimes I talk to the neighbors. I've gone on some dates every once in a while, but nothing serious."
"Oh, so you're going out! That's great! I was worried you were going to just isolate yourself!" Alissa clapped her hands excitedly, and Kat rolled her eyes.
"I did not isolate myself; you don't have to worry."
"Okay, but now you have to spill the tea! How, when, where and with who did you go on a date with?"
"I went down to Madrid for a few weeks, and while I was there, I downloaded an app, and decided it was time to put myself out there again. I went on like 5 dates with three different guys, but like I said, it was nothing serious. Those apps seem to work better for hookups which is cool and all, but I'd also like to find something more long term. "
"I'm proud of you. And don't worry, you'll find someone eventually! I'm just glad you're open to trying again..."
"You know, after Yoongi I thought you were just going to just give up entirely and never date again. And then Kurt happened, and then I really believed you'd never even want to touch a man with a ten feet pole again. But there's so many people out there, it made me sad to see you give up so soon. I know Yoongi was really special, but he can't be the reason you die single." Zeke confessed.
"I still talk to Yoongi all of the time, you know. And he's still very special to me, but I think that maybe we just work best as friends. That way we get to enjoy each other's company, but without the added weight of a relationship. With his schedule, and the industry he's a part of, we were doomed to never work. K-pop is entirely different than the rest of the industry, he profits more off coming across as single and available, so we had to be extra careful to not get caught. It was suffocating. Considering the lengths we had to go to just to be together, it would be way too obvious for media outlets to figure out what was going on. Once they had a picture of us, and our flight history... It'd be over. Right now, he can date whoever he wants in Korea, and it's easy to hide. If they're in the same city all the time because they both live there, it's less suspicious."
"Well, we're glad you're meeting new people and enjoying your time here, just don't replace us or we're going to have a problem!"
"Got it! Not like I was planning on replacing you anyway, you guys are my family, you know that!"
