"Stop right there!" Mike said as Kat walked by him in the rehearsal room, to go get her guitar. Mike was talking to Zeke by the guitar stand, while Eddie was on the other side of the room talking to the sound engineers.
"Me? What did I do?"
He narrowed his eyes at her. "You look different, I don't know what it is, but something happened. Maybe it was during your secret vacation in Korea?"
"You're being crazy, nothing happened"
"Oh really? So you didn't meet up with Mr. K-pop man?"
"We did meet, but we just worked on some music. Nothing else happened."
"Hmm, if you say so... I don't believe you, but I also know that whatever it is, I'm glad it is making you happy", he said as he left and joined Eddie on the other side of the room.
"You might've fooled Mike, but you can't fool me" Zeke whispered harshly after Mike left, as he crossed his arms.
"I don't know what you're talking about"
"Don't play dumb, I know something happened between you and Yoongi. Spill it, now!"
"I hate the way you know me so well"
"Ah-ha! So something did happen!"
"Will you shut it!? We worked on music for the most part, but we also went on dates, and we may or may not be dating now" she said that last part faster, so fast Zeke almost missed it. But his wide eyes, and jaw on the floor were clear indicators that he heard all, loud and clear.
"I'm so happy for you!! I knew this would happen!"
"What do you mean 'you knew'? Not even I knew it would happen"
"Maybe you didn't notice it, but the way you talk about him, your eyes shine brighter and your cheeks get this really cute blush. Not to mention the way you looked at each other when we played that show in Korea. It was so obvious you two were meant to be more than friends!"
" I really think he's a really good guy... He makes me feel calm, happy and safe. But sometimes I get scared. He's never given me any reason to doubt his words, but you know, I've seen so many things, and have been through so much already... What if I end up hurt again? What if he isn't the one, and I'm never able to find true love?"
"He did seem like a good guy. And if you're worried about him being a cheater or worse, him hurting you physically, I don't think you have to worry, he didn't give off those vibes. I think you two are perfect for each other, and you're overthinking due to past experiences. But you have to let go of the past and let yourself be loved. I think this is the love of your life, I've never seen you this happy over a man, EVER. So, I say, go in with an open mind and heart, love and let yourself be loved, this is a fresh start to a beautiful love story .".
"Thank you, Zeke" Kat hugged him, letting him go soon after, when the engineers called them. On the other side of the globe, her boyfriend was also being interrogated. Jimin and Hoseok saw a woman leaving his studio a few days prior, and now they were set on finding out all about it.
"Hyung, you know we will find out, like we always do!" Hoseok said.
"There's nothing to find out. I just brought a friend over to work on a song."
"Is that so? Then you wouldn't mind giving me her number, right? I'm on the dating market again, and she looked hot." Jimin ran a hand through his hair, while he watched his hyung's face twist in displeasure from his words.
"Absolutely not!! There's no way in hell I'd ever give you her number."
"Why not? You're not dating, why do you care if Jimin gets her number?"
