Yoongi guided Kat through the hallways of Hybe to his studio. She had been there before once, but still couldn't stop being in awe of the building. Yoongi's studio was especially fascinating to her. Three pairs of high-end studio monitors, two giant screens and LED lights adorning his wall. The sleek black look of Yoongi's studio, with the colorful LED's were the complete opposite of Kat's set up: plants everywhere, warm lights and pale-yellow walls. Despite these differences, she still loved Yoongi's studio, and liked working there.

"You bought a drum kit? This wasn't here last time I was here!" She exclaimed as she noticed Yoongi's new addition, sitting in the corner of his studio.

"Yeah, I bought it"

"Since when do you play drums?!"

"I started learning recently" he replied nonchalantly.

"You never cease to amaze me! You were a piano genius, then started learning guitar, now drums" She placed her hand on his chest, looking at him with a smirk. "Tell me, what other talents are you hiding?"

He pulled her closer by the hips. "I have many more talents I could show you, are you up to find out?"

She kissed him, but pulled away before it got any further. "I can imagine what some of them are."

"You're playing with fire right now!"

"Am I?"

Before they could do anything else, a knock at the door interrupted them.

"Yoongi-ssi? I got your guitar back from the luthier! They've cleaned it and done a full set-up, now you can play it again".

Kat watched as Yoongi opened the door to grab his guitar and thanked the man. The man briefly glanced in Kat's direction but left without saying anything.

"I see you're taking good care of the gift I gave you"

"While traveling back to Korea, some of the guitar frets started to sprout so I sent it to get fixed. I really loved the guitar, and armys love it too apparently! You should see them thirst over me playing the guitar" he laughed as he placed the guitar on its wall mount.

"I can't blame them, you have the sexiest hands I've seen, and see you using them to play guitar is so attractive".

"Glad to know you like my hands, how about we use them for something useful and finish some songs today?"

"Alright, where should we start?"

They chose this one guitar riff Kat played during their last studio session. There was something intriguing about that simple chord progression from B minor to C minor ending in C# minor. They started brainstorming, working on all the possible drum patterns, and deciding that they would actually use different drums every couple of bars.

They kept throwing ideas around, even adding a flute to the track. They worked surprisingly well together, considering the different backgrounds each of them had. Yoongi grew up listening to hip-hop and rap music while Kat spent most of her childhood and adolescence listening to bands like Megadeth, Van Halen and Death. But to Kat, pop has always been a sort of guilty pleasure. She had fun and enjoyed it, specially producing pop songs but she wouldn't abandon her career in metal to make pop music.

The track was almost done, the only thing missing being arguably the most important part of a solid track: the bassline. Everything else was done, the structure of the track had been laid out, the drums were done, the guitar was done, they had a few layers of pads going on too. Just needed a good bassline to glue everything together.

"I can use a plugin and make a bassline"

"What!? NO!! This song is so good, you can't just ruin it with a fake ass bass, it needs a real genuine bass. Give me one, I've had the perfect idea!"
