After lunch that day, Mike convinced Kat she should tell Yoongi about her true feelings, but it wasn't as simple as just telling him. What if he didn't feel the same way? What if they weren't compatible, or worse, he was a psycho like her last boyfriend? What would they even do after confessing? A long-distance relationship? These questions plagued her mind constantly. She figured she would just see how things go, and enjoy every moment with Yoongi, whether or not they're in a relationship.
Currently Kat's band isn't doing any shows. Some members are enjoying some well-deserved time off, some are writing material for their next album, and in Kat's case, she's going after adventure, in hopes of finding inspiration to write. A few weeks back, Yoongi invited her to come visit him in Korea saying he missed having her around, which is how Kat finds herself in a hotel in Seoul at the moment. She is excited to meet Yoongi in just a few hours, but a bit jet-lagged, so she takes the opportunity to rest.
The sun is still shining when Kat finally wakes up from her slumber. Immediately she starts getting ready to meet Yoongi, showering doing her hair and makeup, everything had to be perfect. She went with a black skirt with fishnets underneath, some doc martens, a black vintage Bathory T shirt and a black leather jacket to complement the look. When she's done getting ready, she texts Yoongi her address, and waits for him to pick her up.
After just a few minutes she sees the familiar black SUV pulling around the corner. She enters the car and quickly greets Yoongi with a small hug. "Where are we going?", she asks.
"There's a festival happening downtown, and I really wanna show it to you"
"Aren't you worried about being recognized?"
"Don't worry, I'll wear my hoodie and a mask, and no one will notice me. Trust me." He said as he kept looking ahead and driving.
"Okay, I'll trust you. Just don't want you getting hurt, or uncomfortable."
"As long as I'm with you I'll be fine. So let's just enjoy our night together"
"Yeah, let's forget everything else and have fun. It's been a while since we had the chance to hang out. What have you been up to?"
"The same as usual, a lot of dance practices, writing sessions and producing new tracks, making beats... Hanging out with you will be a welcomed change of pace."
"Have you worked on any of the song ideas we did last time, when you were in my house?"
"No, I was actually thinking we could do that together tomorrow. You could visit my studio again, we could write and have fun with some of my new gear. What do you think?"
"I'd love to! You're such a sweetheart, waiting for me to work on our projects."
They kept talking until they reached the festival. As the car came to a stop, Yoongi put on his hoodie and his black mask. They exited the car and walked together to the event. It was a sort of fair, with lots of food and beverage booths, as well as many rides. Yoongi immediately pulled Kat to the roller-coaster queue, but she just pulled back as her eyes widened.
"NO, NO, NO, NO, NO! there's no way in hell I'm ever stepping foot in one of those!"
"What? Why not? It's just a ride"
"I'm not going, let's just get something to eat instead"
He pulled to the side slightly and held her hands, while looking deep into her eyes. His eyes were the only thing visible to Kat, but she was sure he was pouting underneath his mask.
"You don't have to be afraid, I'll be right by your side."
"I'm scared Yoongi..."
"It's okay, if you don't like it, then we'll do something else." Kat could tell he was disappointed, but he would never force someone to do something they're uncomfortable with. He was looking forward to riding the roller-coaster, but if his friend was scared, then he would drop the idea and look for something else to do. He was already walking away when Kat stopped, making him look at her.
