*Based on the song: Too Sweet by Hozier*
The soft light of the setting sun spilled into the woods surrounding the X-Mansion, casting a golden hue over everything. You found a quiet spot under an old oak tree, the leaves rustling gently in the evening breeze. Logan Howlett, with his rugged charm and enigmatic presence, had invited you for a peaceful evening away from the chaos of the school.
You leaned against the tree, feeling a sense of calm wash over you as Logan approached, his familiar boots crunching on the fallen leaves. He was dressed in his usual flannel and leather jacket, the epitome of casual cool. As he neared, the warmth in his eyes made your heart skip a beat.
"I don't want to be your friend"
"Hey, there you are," he said, his voice low and inviting. "Thought I'd find you here."
You smiled, pushing off from the tree to greet him. "I needed some fresh air. It's nice to escape for a bit."
Logan stepped closer, his intense gaze locking onto yours. "Yeah, I get that. Sometimes, you just need to get away from it all, huh?"
"Exactly," you replied, feeling a flutter of excitement at his proximity. You had always cherished these moments with him, where the world faded away, and it was just the two of you.
"I just want to be your man"
As you sat down on a nearby log, Logan joined you, the air thick with unspoken words and shared glances. The chemistry between you was undeniable; it was as if a magnetic force pulled you closer together. "You know," he started, hesitating for a moment, "I've been thinking about us."
You felt your heart race, a mixture of anticipation and anxiety swirling in your chest. "Yeah? What have you been thinking?"
He turned to you, his expression serious yet soft. "I don't want to be just friends anymore. I want to be more—your man, if you'll let me."
"But you're too sweet for me"
You felt your breath catch at his confession. "Logan..." you began, searching for the right words. "I've wanted that too, but I didn't know if you felt the same. You're intense, and I sometimes worry you're too much for me."
He chuckled softly, a hint of vulnerability in his eyes. "You know I'm a bit of a mess, right? But I promise I'll always be honest with you. I care about you—more than I probably should."
You leaned in closer, the distance between you disappearing. "You're not too much for me, Logan. You make me feel alive."
"But I want your sweetness too"
His gaze softened, and a smile tugged at the corners of his lips. "Then let's make this happen. I can be your protector, your partner...whatever you need."
The sincerity in his voice melted away your hesitations. "I want that, too," you admitted, feeling a rush of warmth. "You make everything feel right."
Logan's expression shifted, a more playful glint in his eyes. "I guess that means I can take you out on a real date, huh?"
"But you're too sweet for me"
You laughed, feeling lighter than air. "Absolutely. I'd like that."
"Good," he said, a mischievous smile spreading across his face. "I'll make sure it's a night to remember. Just don't blame me if it's a little... wild."
You smirked, loving the thrill that came with Logan. "I wouldn't have it any other way."
As the sun dipped below the horizon, you felt a sense of promise lingering in the air. The warmth of his presence enveloped you, and for the first time, you felt truly ready to embrace whatever lay ahead.
"Oh, I want your sweetness too"
As darkness fell, Logan reached out, intertwining his fingers with yours. The connection felt electric, a spark igniting between you that promised a future full of adventures and passion. You were ready to explore this new territory together, knowing that with Logan by your side, it would always be anything but ordinary.
The night was just beginning, and you both knew that you had found something truly special in each other—something that was not just sweet, but beautifully intense, just like the man himself.
