Charles:

Charles was sitting in his study when the news hit him like a freight train. Y/N had just come from the doctor's office, her face pale and teary. The moment he saw her, his heart sank. She didn't need to say a word; the anguish in her eyes told him everything.

"Y/N..." he whispered, rising from his chair and moving toward her. She collapsed into his arms, and he held her tightly, feeling the weight of her sorrow echoing in his chest. "I'm so sorry," he murmured, his voice thick with emotion.

"I wanted this so badly, Charles," she sobbed, clinging to him as if he were her lifeline. "I thought... I thought we would have our family."

"I know, my love," he replied softly, gently stroking her hair. His mind raced, searching for the right words to comfort her. "It's okay to grieve. We'll get through this together. You're not alone."

As the minutes passed, he held her close, feeling the warmth of her body against his. The silence was heavy, but he could feel her pain, and it cut him deeply. "I wish I could take this away from you," he whispered, his heart aching for her.

Y/N pulled back slightly, her eyes searching his. "What if I can't move past this? What if I'm broken?"

"You are not broken," he assured her, his tone firm yet gentle. "This is a heavy burden, and it's okay to feel lost right now. I'll be right here, every step of the way."

With that, Charles led her to the couch, where they sat together in silence, his hand entwined with hers. He knew it wouldn't be easy, but as long as they had each other, they could begin to heal.

Erik:

Erik had always been guarded, but the moment Y/N shared the news of her miscarriage, a part of him shattered. He stood in their bedroom, staring at the empty crib they had picked out together, the silence pressing down on him like a weight he couldn't lift.

"Y/N?" he called out, his voice cracking. He found her in the living room, curled up on the couch, tears streaming down her cheeks. It was a sight that tore at his heart, and he knelt beside her, unsure how to reach her.

"I just can't believe it's over," she whispered, her voice barely audible. "I thought we were finally going to be a family."

Erik felt the anger rise within him—not at her, but at the universe for being so cruel. "You deserve to be happy," he said fiercely, his grip tightening on her shoulders. "You deserve so much more than this."

She looked up at him, her eyes filled with hurt and confusion. "But I feel so empty, Erik. What do we do now?"

He took a deep breath, forcing himself to remain calm for her sake. "We take it one day at a time. We allow ourselves to grieve. You have every right to feel this pain, and I'm here to feel it with you."

As they sat together, Erik pulled her into his arms, feeling her tremble against him. "You are not alone in this," he vowed, his voice steady. "I won't let you go through this by yourself. We'll figure it out together."

In that moment, Y/N found solace in Erik's strength, knowing that despite the heartache, they had each other to lean on.

Hank:

Hank had been working late in the lab when he received Y/N's call, her voice trembling as she delivered the heartbreaking news. He rushed home, his heart racing with fear and concern. When he walked in, the sight of her tear-stained face was unbearable.
