Did I distract you Gray?

Kai's POV

I haven't seen the maid who was poisoning Pae yet because I am not in the mood to kill anyone. I don't know who would do that but it pisses me off and I just want to forget it ever happened.

Paedyn has already sent Octavia, Russell and Andy to the healers. Octavia went in with a broken arm, Andy went in with a cut on her leg and Russell went in with a knife buried in his shoulder. Pae is very feisty today. I hope she doesn't kill me in bed tonight... who am I kidding I would love to watch that. we are training outside today and it is hot as fuck. Me, Jax and Russell have all ditched our shirts and I swear Pae keeps looking at me. damn she might kill me right now if she keeps looking at me like that. Andy also keeps making comments about how she doesn't want to see all my skin like the big baby she is. 

I am fighting Jax while Pae shoots a bow. Jax is getting better at fighting but he is not as good as me... yet. after  giving me a cut on my cheek and arm I get him pinned down to the ground and he gives up. "You're getting better" I tell him as I help him stand up. I feel a healers powers so I heal me and Jax quickly before Pae sees my cuts.

"yeah well I have been practicing" he says with a shrug

"that's good" I say  messing with his hair "I'm really proud of you" 

he fixes his hair before giving me a small smile. "thanks, now go be with your fiance I know you want to" he shoves me towards Pae

Pae's POV

I have to stop looking at Kai. he is so hot without his shirt on, I am hot enough as it is I don't need to be sweating more than I already am. so I keep my eyes off of him as he fights Jax. 

I am about to hit right in the middle of the target when I feel hands on my waist and kisses on my neck making me hit the tree. my face immediately turns into a frown as he chuckles against my neck still kissing it. "asshole" I mutter 

"oh no did I distract you Gray?" he says sarcastically moving to the other side of my neck moving my hair away and sucking on my sweet spot. 

"Kai you are not doing this out here with everyone watching us" I say biting my bottom lip. 

"why not? no one is going to care" he whispers in my ear. 

"I think your little brother and everyone in their right mind is going to care."

he takes the bow from my hand and sets it on the ground before grabbing my hand and leading me behind the tree out of view from everyone. before I can protest my back hits the tree and his lips are on mine. there is nothing soft about this kiss, it is all tongue and teeth and rough. his hands are holding onto my hips and my hands are in his hair. I can barely breathe and I know there could be a better place to do this but when his knee parts my legs and he holds both my hands above my head with one of his own, I seem to forget about anything except him and his lips moving down my neck. 

"Jesus! why is it always me who walks in on you guys?" Andy says covering her eyes and turning her back to us. 

Kai kisses my nose before dropping my hands and stepping away from me. "what the hell do you mean? this is the first time you have walked in on us" he says looking at her. 

she turns around and peeks through her fingers. after seeing we aren't kissing he drops her hand. "oh yeah I forgot I was a bird the last time you guys did this." she says and my face goes hot. 

Kai sighs and pinches the bridge of his nose "what do you want Andy?" he asks 

"oh, um I am supposed to tell you it is time for lunch." she says looking embarrassed 

"I was having my lunch" he grumbles making me slap his arm.
