another damn ball. I really hate these, they are always the same with people dancing and wine and all women wearing green dresses. my dress is purple and I am surprised that I actually kind of like it. not as much as I like Adena's but it is ok.

he hasn't kept his eyes off me the whole night and God knows I haven't been much better. he looks so fucking hot I cant even take my eyes off of him for a second. it has been like this the last few days, he is hotter than usual. I'm not sure if this is hormones or just because I love him so much but as he talks to Andy I am practically eye fucking him.
this week has been a lot. my home was destroyed, imperials have had to pull me off Blair 5 times at training and I have to go survive another fucking trial tomorrow. all I want to do is sleep and eat and sleep. I have been really tired probably because Kai hasn't been letting me get much sleep but I'm not complaining.
he sees me looking at him and he walks up to me away from Andy who rolls her eyes. "your eye fucking me again" he says laughing softly
"am I? I hadn't noticed" I say rolling my eyes
"I love you, you know that?" he says kissing my forehead lightly and pulling me into his arms.
"yeah I know"

"I'm just saying I did what I had to do to win the trials.. even though it all went to shit after that" Blair and I are arguing about Adena as we always are.
"you did what you had to do to be a bitch" I say and Mak looks like he is about to kill her. we are all sitting at a table. the ball ended an hour ago and we have been arguing for an hour. everyone competing in the trials is here plus Kitt and a few imperials.
"just because the mission was to kill her doesn't mean you had to kill an innocent person who did nothing wrong." Mak speaks up for the first time.
"she deserved it she was a traitor" Blair says coldly
"she did not deserve it, she was not a traitor!!" me and Mak say at the same time standing up and slamming our hands on the table.
"ow wow look at you two bonding over your dead servant and fuck toy." she laughs
oh hell no, she did not just call her my servant and Mak's fuck toy. "why don't we all calm down" Kai says as my hands clench into fists "Paedyn sit down" he says and it is clear from his voice that he is not asking. "now"
I slowly sit down and his hand goes to my thigh to keep me there. Mak slowly sits down next to me. "aw look at you listening to your little boyfriend. you take orders from him everywhere you go?" she smirks. Blair knows what she is doing and she likes it. I stand up and I start walking out. Kai begins to follow me but we both freeze when Blair talks again. "your running away from your problems Paedyn just how you did with your father and Adena. you just left them there. they are better off without you."
my hands clench so hard I think I am drawing blood from my nails digging into my skin. she did not just go there. before I can even think I grab my dagger and throw it behind me. it goes flying to her and she doesn't have enough time to react, the dagger goes flying through the air and lands in her stomach. things happen so fast. all I see is blood spilling out of her and Kai's face of shock as Mak uses Blair's powers to send a small decorative tree through her back.
everything goes in slow motion as everyone looks shocked, scared and pissed off at the same time. her body falls to the ground lifeless as she bleeds all over the ground and imperials grab my hands and Mak's hands pinning them behind our backs bringing us to the dungeon. Kai looks so shocked he doesn't even try to stop them. the rules were very clear when the trials started, we aren't supposed to hurt another contestant except for when training and in the trials themselves. we just killed Blair, I don't think Kai can stop his own men as they throw us in a cell and chain us to the walls.
as I am punched and knocked out I watch Mak as the same thing happens to him next to me and when everything goes black I realize I regret nothing. I would do it a hundred more times.
I finally got my revenge and it felt good.
