Kai's POV
I wake up in a cold, wet and dark cave. I am used to the head ache that fills my brain as I sit up. my hands and feel are chained to the cave wall. I look around some more and I see Andy and Mak still asleep also chained to the wall. the entrance to the cave is open but we are all chained to the walls. Jax is across from me with his back against the stone, one knee is bent while the other one is laying flat. he is looking outside and he looks pissed. all I can think is where are Octavia and Russell and if this is a team thing like last time why does our team have more than theirs?
"what's your problem?" I ask Jax as I try to use Andy's power to get out of the chains but it doesn't work.
"I already tried that, you can't use your powers to get out of the chains." Jax says calmly "and my problem is, my girl is with that dick"
"I'm guessing this is another teamwork thing?" I say copying his position of sitting with one leg bent and the other flat. he nods. "why would they put less people on their team and put so many people on ours?"
"well Paedyn counts as two people" he says calmly
it takes me a minute to understand what he just said "what the fuck are you talking about?!?!"
he finally looks at me, "Kai come on, did you really think Kitt was going to forgive her and take her out of the trials just because she is pregnant?"
my hands clench so tightly and anger fills my blood. "how do you know that?"
"it said it in the note they left us. I got so pissed I ripped it to shreds though" he says looking back outside the cave.
I will never forgive Kitt for this. he can't just do this. that mother fucking bitch will pay if anything happens to Paedyn or my child. once I find a way to get out of these damn chains I am going to punch the fucking life out of him.

Pae's POV
"do you think she is dead?" I hear a voice say
"no she is still breathing you idiot" another says
"she should have woken up by now, I'm just saying she looks dead to me." the first voice says
"she probably just got a bigger dose then us because she is pregnant" the second voice says and I can tell that it is a woman while the first voice seems to be a man.
I slowly open my eyes and it is blurry for a minute before my vision slowly returns. why the fuck am I in a cave and why are Octavia and Russell standing over me? wait where am I? I sit up but fall back down when dizziness takes over my body.
"oh God be careful" Octavia says helping me lay back down.
"what the hell is happening? where am I?" I ask as I close my eyes to try and get rid of the dizziness.
"well you are in a cave for the second trial and the fucking king gave me a pregnant ordinary as a teammate" I hear Russell and I can tell he is mad.
"Russell shut the hell up" Octavia says
of course Kitt put me in the trials anyways. that mother fucking bitch- wait a cave. my eyes fly open and I look around seeing how small the cave is. there is no opening besides a very scary looking TINY tunnel. "oh my God" I say sitting up putting my back against the wall and covering my eyes with my hands.
"what the hell is her problem?" I hear Russell say.
"I cant breathe" I say breathlessly
"oh shit are you claustrophobic?" Russell asks and when I nod he starts laughing
"what the hell is so funny asshole?" Octavia asks
"this is just wonderful. the king gives me two teammates not 3 like the others, one of them is pregnant and an ordinary and she is claustrophobic" he keeps laughing "we are going to lose this"
this is not happening. I am not stuck in a small cave with an asshole who tried to kill me and my brother-in-law's girlfriend. this is all a dream. It's fake. I don't even realize I am hyperventilating until Octavia tells Russell to look through a bag they gave us for some water.
"here Paedyn take this and breathe" Octavia says handing me a cup of water.
I take the water and I do my best to take deep breaths. I have to keep telling myself that I am not going to die.
