Hotch runs after Emily but by the time he is out of his office, she's out the door.
He presses his hands to his head. "Dammit!"
"Hotch? You okay?" Reid asks.
"Yeah. I just need to...I need to..." He gets lost in his words.
"Go tell her. I think it's time." Reid sighs.
"I know." Hotch throws his hands down to his thighs. "I just wanted it to be perfect."
"Maybe it is perfect. It's as good as time as any. You need to tell her."
"It's only eight at night."
"Go. I will cover you."
"What if she never wants to speak to me again?"
"Hotch, that woman loves you. There is no chance that she is going to walk out on you."
Hotch's body turns, his tie flying with him. He jolts for the door.
"Hotch! Where are you going?" Reid questions, rather loudly.
Hotch glances over his shoulder before opening his mouth. "I'm going to win back my girl!"
